I’ve sat here in my hotel room here in beautiful Barcelona (although it’s gloomy and raining at the moment) and have pondered about how to start this post and there lays the answer.
~
While I have been having a blast traveling and seeing the other side of the world these past couple of months, I must admit that it has also been tough on me.
~
I’m not used to being alone so I have been making a personal effort to embrace loneliness. Doing such has allowed me to grow and be more in tune with myself but it has also shown me that I do not fare well on my own and I honestly enjoy the company of others rather just my own.
~
If you have made this far in my post, I appreciate your precious time devoted to me and my rant.
~
This post is about what I have mentioned already and also me venting/grieving my mothers death.
~
It’s coming up on 2 years in June and I still do not know how to handle it, grieve or mourn and that’s okay because there is no text book or proper way to do so. Everyone mourns their own way or will do so eventually.
~
I miss my mom probably the most I ever have today as I sit alone in my small hotel room in Barcelona, Spain on this gloomy rainy day here and while I’m hurting in this moment, I am also healing.
~
I do not know how to reach out to others for help or comfort tbh. I’m used to being the one providing such.
~
Anyways I’ve said a lot and I dearly miss my late Mother “PUDAT” was our nickname me and friends gave her. I love you Mom, hopefully you are peacefully at rest and have found your perfect fishing hole in the afterlife.

The time of my departure is approaching fast and more ghouls are gathering for my send off! My send off falls on Hallows Eve so your spookiest outfits are encouraged but most of all your presence is required! The time has come to announce that I will be moving away from San Francisco where I have made many friends and connections and oh so many beautiful memories of my time there. I will be moving down to Southern California as that’s where I see me thriving in my next chapter of life.

Now some of you have been made aware of my decision and moving plans, it is now officially made public I am leaving with this post and therefore I present to you my going away party announcement!

On Sunday Oct 30th, I will be having my going away party at and what better time to do so than Halloween weekend!? It will be a spooktacular night of great music and hangs of familiar faces. More information of the party will soon follow as I finalize everything.

Today is a difficult one to manage as it’s my mothers first birthday with her no longer with us. PUDAT is her nickname that we gave her. She loved unicorns and still does wherever she may be now. She also loved peacocks. I miss her everyday, some more than others. While I do my best to not let her passing effect me rather drive me to be and do better, I’m still processing her death and probably always will be. I miss her tremendously and although her time here with us was cut short, she would want me to carry on and do great in this world and keep the party going. Her 1 year anniversary is approaching in the coming days which also makes these days difficult but posting and sharing these thoughts of mine helps with my healing and I appreciate you taking the time to read this and share this moment with me. I love you Pudat and hope to make you proud.
