Meet Blaine Kern, Jr. 2019 Beau for American Cancer Society - Louisiana!

Blaine Kern, Jr. established Mardi Gras Productions Inc in 1986. Mardi Gras Productions facilitates nearly 400 events locally, nationally, and abroad. Mardi Gras Productions has produced events for some of the largest Fortune 500 companies in the world and has staged some of New Orleans’ most historic events including the visit of Pope John II, Super Bowl XLVII and a National Republican Convention.

Blaine's active community involvement in several organizations and his support of the American Cancer Society and Hope Lodge New Orleans makes him a key of hope for this year's Belles and Beaus Ball!

About

Mardi Gras Productions is New Orleans’ premier one-stop-shop for special event production. From design consultation and event planning to custom floral, props and artwork, MGP will bring your ideas to life. We have produced events for some of the largest Fortune 500 companies in the world and have staged some of New Orleans’ most historic events including the visit of Pope John II, Super Bowl XLVII and a National Republican Convention. Our prop shop is staffed by seasoned veterans who strive to make every event distinctive. We proudly house the largest inventory of 3D props and décor in the South. Our five warehouses and over 70,000 square feet of stored beauty ensure a dazzling event that will leave your guests awestruck.

History

After working for ten years at his family’s float fabrication business, Blaine Kern Jr. opened Mardi Gras Productions in 1986. Currently celebrating their 32nd year in business, MGP is proud to produce an average of 350 to 400 events per year, travelling coast to coast and abroad.
