Hi! We’re Jordan and Cassie, the driving forces of JCarter Weddings! We’ve been married for almost 11 years and have 5 beautiful babies. Our youngest is 2 and our oldest is 9 😱

5 years ago Jordan came home early from work, which was weird.. he sat me (Cassie) down and let me know he had been laid off. I was laid off from the same company one month prior. We had nothing saved, 3 little boys to feed, and rent to pay. We did what made the most logical sense😉.. start a business. We didn’t have much but we had faith and we had each other. People thought we were crazy, people couldn’t believe Jordan wasn’t going to get a “real job”.

So, we did what “crazy people” do and launched JCarter Weddings in 2018. With Jordan having 14+ yrs of film/audio experience, creating great wedding films has always been the goal, but a lot of people can do that. We aim to craft stories that highlight the treasure that marriage truly is, an institution worth valuing and protecting. We love weddings, we love marriage, and we love people.. we want that to be evident in all of our work. It is a privilege to get to do this and we are so excited for what’s to come!

When the love between two people is so evident it reminds me why I love what I do. Love is real and is so much more than attraction. To care for someone's heart in the good times and bad, flaws and all, it's so great to see and even more amazing to capture on camera!

The day began at the Origins at Red Rocks Hotel in beautiful Golden, CO. An elegant setting with a backdrop of the gorgeous Red Rocks Park, where we were able to get some incredible shots. The reception was held at Christies of Genesse, a venue complete with its own outdoor ceremony space overlooking the city. It was beautiful as the sun set behind them and the outdoor lights lit up.

Sten & Brooke I want to thank you for allowing me to be part of your story. Having you two so in love and shooting in Red Rocks is like a WIN WIN! The celebration of love under God is something very significant and I'm happy I was able to persevere this memory for you for a lifetime! I pray blessings for you and your marriage for many years to come!

Every time I get the privilege to shoot someone's wedding part of the fun is never knowing what to expect. I am always surprised by the love between a couple, seeing two families merged into one,  and the beauty of the wedding day. This day was no exception. This was a beautiful day with a fabulous couple at an incredible venue!

Ethan and Kylie thank you so much for allowing me to capture your special day and it truly was special! The Oaks at Plum Creek provided the best possible backdrop and really gave that elegant experience. Everyone envisions the wedding of their dreams. Where everything is perfect. There is so much planning and time spent over choosing dresses and decorations, cake, & venue. All these things are great and help create the day but they are far from the highlight, far from the focal point.

It was an honor to do Photo, Video, & DJ for my good friends Tyler & Katrina. We go way back like WAY WAY back and I was overjoyed when they asked me to not only do 1 of the important tasks but multiple.

The day began with fun some fun as the groomsmen and bridesmaids swapped embarrassing stories about each other. The destination of choice was the fantastic Venue at ALMAGRE, an amazing space for weddings conveniently located right in the middle of Colorado Springs. It served as the perfect backdrop for what would prove to be an unforgettable day. A feeling of excitement and anticipation was in the air. God had been the center of their relationship and it was evident He was present especially when the prayers began. These two had waited patiently, denying many of the fleeting pleasures of this world to wait for each other. "Tyler was everything I wanted, plus more" according to Katrina and it was clear their dreams were coming true. As they shared their first look emotion overcame them as they embraced. Their closest family and friends watched as Katrina walked down the aisle to Tyler, her life partner, as they were united in covenant under God. All of the planning and all of the fuss over details began to fade in the background as pure joy was seen from Tyler and Katrina on this Colorado wedding day. The dancing and festivities went on the rest of the evening and it would seem that EVERYONE including the Bride and Groom had a night to remember!

Thank you Tyler + Katrina for asking me to be apart of your day and allowing to share in this amazing memory. I had a blast capturing it for you and telling YOUR story!

Leo & Janessa Anjos said "I Do" on a beautiful summer day in Black Forest, CO. The intimate ceremony was held with family and closest friends out on the amazing Shamrock Ranch, a beautiful 2,900-acre ranch owned by the family. It served as the perfect place for a special moment like this one, creating an ambiance that was incredible to capture on film. Later, they concluded the day with an epic celebration at the historic Cliff House Hotel in Manitou Springs, CO. Leo & Janessa thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day. I hope this film helps preserve this memory for you and reminds you of your love for one another each time you watch it.

What a privilege it was to be apart of this amazing wedding! As you watch this wedding film it is so clear the love these two have for each other and the adventurous spirit they have! Held in beautiful Old Colorado City in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the Loft was a great venue to host such a beautiful event. The atmosphere was primed for an amazing wedding night and friends and family were all so privileged to be there to watch this love journey continue. In the film, you will see a lot of intimate moments with the couple as well as the rustic feel of the area. The night ended with a party off the charts!
