Woke up today with my anxiety through the roof, and it quickly spiraled into a panic attack. I started feeling pretty low. Thankfully, I was able to eat some breakfast (shoutout to the wife), and after a couple of glasses of water and some deep breaths, I started to feel like myself again.

Once I got things under control, I jumped behind the decks and worked on my set for tonight. Even though I’m planning to take a step back from DJing, I still have some obligations on the calendar, and I fully intend to honor them. One of those is dropping a set at tonight for their grand opening. This event is big for the city, the culture, and the scene, and I’m honored to be part of it.

A full week later and I’m still geeked at what went down at for our 7th year anniversary of . We were very blessed to be in the company of LEGENDS. Today marks the anniversary of a legendary project in hip-hop history: “Hieroglyphics the Kitchen,” produced in part by by the Sleeprockers. I’ve always been inspired by the innovative blend of classic and experimental sounds that this collaboration brought to life. It’s a reminder of why I fell in love with hip-hop and why I continue to push boundaries in my own sets. Much love and respect to Hieroglyphics and Sleeprockers for keeping the culture alive and thriving. Here’s to more years of groundbreaking music!
