This weekend. These two. Clark the dog…

Yep. This year has been one for the books. We all went back to work. We came back to life. We all made mistakes and learned invaluable lessons. Hopefully we all learned to laugh a little more and take it all a little less seriously. In the end … all we have are the people that love us and looking forward to the next adventure. All while loving the moment we are in. And so with and Stephen’s wedding complete (and mad love to them both for reminding me why I love what I do), I say thank you to the 2021 summer / fall season.

Ummmm… so winter wedding season starts in 2 weeks. I’ve got to go answer emails 😂🤷🏽🙃🌸.

Fridays wedding at Copper Mountain] was perfect. The best couple. The best team. After the rescheduling rodeo, these two ALWAYS remembered what was important. The two of them getting married and celebrating with friends and family. I am so thankful that couples like and graham find me (and think it’s hilarious when I pick them up from the gondola in a sprinter camper van) and teams that include (if you have not booked him yet … just do it!) Copper Mountain]

This moment and countless others I forget to talk about. This is why I still love my job. Thank you to Kelsey for being an awesome bride and rolling with the rodeo of covid reschedules. Thank you to for the most darling flower girl baskets I have ever seen. Thank you to Michele from photography for capturing moments so beautifully. Thank you to the for being so flexible and accommodating.

And thank you to awesome little kids who are so enthralled with the magic of wedding days that they remind us … this IS a fairytale we get to be a part of.

Joy and fun. Fun and joy.

As we are all overwhelmed with everything 2020 has thrown our way, I am choosing to focus on the fun part again. Like this at from a few years ago. Hula hoops, programs on tambourines and a vw bus leading a parade from the ceremony to the reception. It’s supposed to be fun. And it will be again soon. In the meantime, I think it’s time to head up to the mountains and find a nice cold lake to camp at for the next few days ✌🏼

This gorgeous intimate wedding from February was a peek into what smaller weddings could and should be. Amazing people focused on family and friends. A beautiful ceremony with heartfelt vows that stopped me in my tracks and made me remember why I love weddings. A beautiful room. We can do this. We can still make your wedding absolutely magnificent.
