Leslie here. Let me start by saying...this is a very humbling post. The whole concept of Convivium is that our restaurant and catering business helps support our community programs, like our free weekly casseroles. But lately, that has not been happening.
Business in the restaurant has slowed considerably and we’ve just been squeaking by. (This is likely a combination of just holiday busy-ness and road closures on this end of town.) Now, we’ve been hit with a completely unbudgeted expense – our heat went out and it will cost $5,500 to fix. Money that we don’t have.
