With Pennsylvania Theatre of Performing Arts – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉

It's been a huge pleasure of mine having the opportunity to film and photograph several of the plays put on by the PTPA. The talent here is amazing and I've made some amazing friends along the way!

I'm looking forward to seeing many more excellent shows!

Knowing that photography and art posted to meta can be used for ai training has strongly disincentivized me from sharing anything on the platform directly (FB or Insta.)

Next Friday, May 24th at 6pm, I will be having a photography exhibition of my work at Sugar & Loaf Bakery/Café. You will have an opportunity to see and purchase some never before seen work from my travels! This is my largest exhibit to date! I will also be having a fun and interactive scavenger hunt with my photos and there will be prizes for the winners.

My brother, Chef Phillip Pecora will be hosting this at his unique bakery- delicious pastries and espresso drinks, coffees, and teas will be available for purchase throughout the evening. The event goes from 6-8pm.

Excited to announce that I'm collaboration with the Hazleton Art League to develop a micro photography program alongside my good friend and past biology professor Carl Frankel. I see a ton of creative possibilities ahead!

Some of my favorites from covering Wassail Fest 2023 for DHAP Downtown Hazleton Alliance for Progress. The shoot was a fun challenge as it required doing run and gun shooting out on the streets after dark which makes capturing clean images more difficult.

I loved having a chance to meet some of the vendors and seeing familiar faces who are working to bring more vibrance and a strong sense of community to Hazleton.

Shout out to Hazleton Art League for a spectacular space full of art and dance.

Enjoyed doing some editing on a personal project recently. A very good friend of mine invited me to join him at his enchanted, rustic family cabin in Quebec many years ago and I finally made it up there after about a decade.

These are just some small sneak peaks of a more comprehensive series. Still determining how to share the full story.

Been considering making a zine or some other photo book that would be easy for others to enjoy. Been really feeling the desire to share art in more tangible ways.

~Shooting for the Kerry Kenny Band~

It's amazing how time weaves lives together without our knowing.
I first saw Kerry Kenny performing solo at Forks Farm a few years back while helping my brother with his bakery stand for . The first thing I noticed was how comfortable she was standing there by herself with her guitar; singing from inside a barn with open doors, her music filling the market.

Fast forward a year later and Annie and I were organizing our last minute wedding. Kerry didn't know us well at the time but surprised us by agreeing to play at our reception. She continued to surprise us by showing up with a band of insanely talented musicians including a fiddle player whose skill I had never seen the likes of (not an overstatement).

After the wedding we became fast friends and I really got to know Kerry and her band. Beyond being amazing musicians the Kerry Kenny band is full of great people, including Kerry herself, someone with a ton of talent.

When Kerry approached me to do the photo shoot for her band's album release I was thrilled especially after finding out we would be shooting at the wildly adorned Covered Bridge Brewhaus.

I can't share all of the fantastic photos we produced as many are being saved for future releases. What I can do is share the link to their killer new album! Trust me you don't want to miss it!

Had the honor of working with the amazing Linwe Telperion this past month.
Check our her page and find out when she will be performing next!

Lighting was a mix of flash and continuous lighting. Flash to freeze the motion of the dancer while the continuous light allowed for a slight blur in the veil to show movement and give the feeling of fire.

I have an eclectic interest, not solely in photography, in life as a whole. Not resulting from indecisiveness but from a genuine need for new challenges. When I am not learning and growing I feel I am not truly living.

I am always thrilled by a creative challenge. If you have dreams for a wild shoot, I have dreams to make it happen.

Friends, family and community supporters made this night one to remember.
