I am so excited to share my growth over 2022 and what is coming next. I stopped really producing weddings in 2018, with the birth of my third baby and my business partner heading off in a new direction. I was able to design flowers for a few weddings of friends and even my sister in law(which I have known since she was 12!) got married in 2021, it was magical. I wasn't out of the game, just not hitting the gas on developing my business.

November of 2021 I put in all my official paperwork to be able to operate as a licensed business again, this time alone. I just put the word out and posted a few things in a local wedding Facebook group. As we started the new year I decided I would set a crazy goal of “22 Weddings in 2022”. I put it out to my closest friends and family but especially to my grandma and aunts who are very fervent prayer warriors, my community is amazing. I completed my 22nd wedding in November, with one more to go! I can't even begin to describe how blessed I feel by this realization.

2023 is shaping up to be the best year yet. With growth came a lot more dreaming and I am so excited to start introducing bartending/banquet services as well as bring on a day of coordinator that is truly a game changer for luxury wedding design(I can't wait to introduce her). You will also be seeing and hearing from my two employees that have given me the ability to really grow and dream for what I love. As always, thank you for the support and keep an eye out for our future.

My genius of a husband made me promise to not schedule a wedding for just one week in the middle of the summer. So that is where I am, enjoying my munchkins. Hitting up games, resetting my front porch from the drop zone it has been. 🤦‍♀️ generally resetting my creative soul for another round of weddings… so this is my warning if you try to get in touch this week. Kinda busy, not being busy.

My brother has a desk for work for the first time ever and last week I asked if I could bring some flowers. He said his desk wasn’t that big, so I proceeded to bring him the largest bouquet I could make with what I had. It kept getting bigger all week because the peonies hadn’t even started to bloom yet😆🙌😂🤣I definitely still laugh about how fun it was to watch his face as I brought it in. He couldn’t even put it on his desk. Classic.

Leftover flowers that the bride and groom don’t take home get a quick refresh in the morning and are passed along to neighbors and the assisted living home near me. What a cheery way to start a Sunday.

Wild and Free. Man I was feeling down last week. Four kids can be a lot and they have all been in a “phase”. Then I had a big lull in weddings and not taking the time to grow in my passion makes me a short tempered mommy. I got a call from a frustrated friend who found none of the flowers she had wanted to use for a memorial service. She didn’t want to bother me but asked for some advice on what she could do to make it work. Little did she know, she was what I needed. I jumped in the car and got to help her finish up her centerpieces and larger arrangements, using blooms we found in her own garden and every last stem from her take away at the store. I LOVE what I do.

I mean, I’m still just dreaming about my farm tour. It was spectacular! Got me thinking about my carbon footprint and ways to support more locally. Any mini farms or hobby farmers near Everett/snohomish. That might give me a chance to clip for some of my weddings? DM me!
