🌸I have always had the privilege of tailoring my business to fit my life. When I was having babies I didn’t take on too much, had a partner with a career that had some flexibility and was mostly momming. 🩷My biggest summers of weddings was when my husband was a teacher and we switched primary parenting roles for the season. When kids needed me and my man started his own company, I put things on slow motion. 🌸I am quickly approaching some major changes. My last baby is heading to kindergarten soon! So Ivy and Birch is taking on some new challenges. ☕️🌼Excited to start offering some Friday coffee and flower delivery, more holiday and monthly options, as well as additional in house gifts. 🎁 Keep an eye out for my next “shop drop”!

I am so excited to share my growth over 2022 and what is coming next. I stopped really producing weddings in 2018, with the birth of my third baby and my business partner heading off in a new direction. I was able to design flowers for a few weddings of friends and even my sister in law(which I have known since she was 12!) got married in 2021, it was magical. I wasn't out of the game, just not hitting the gas on developing my business.

November of 2021 I put in all my official paperwork to be able to operate as a licensed business again, this time alone. I just put the word out and posted a few things in a local wedding Facebook group. As we started the new year I decided I would set a crazy goal of “22 Weddings in 2022”. I put it out to my closest friends and family but especially to my grandma and aunts who are very fervent prayer warriors, my community is amazing. I completed my 22nd wedding in November, with one more to go! I can't even begin to describe how blessed I feel by this realization.

2023 is shaping up to be the best year yet. With growth came a lot more dreaming and I am so excited to start introducing bartending/banquet services as well as bring on a day of coordinator that is truly a game changer for luxury wedding design(I can't wait to introduce her). You will also be seeing and hearing from my two employees that have given me the ability to really grow and dream for what I love.
