My top pick for 2024 has to be a Halloween-inspired couples shoot with the dynamic duo, Britney and CJ. Our adventure began at a secluded, abandoned structure, nestled amidst towering weeds and a scattering of local poisonous hemlock. Dressed in their spooktacular costumes, we kicked off the session with some laid-back snaps—Britney donned a chilling killer mask, while CJ wielded a bat in his frightful outfit. Of course, we couldn’t resist swapping out a few prop weapons for added flair!
Next, we decided to channel the essence of a classic horror film, capturing Britney as if she were the star of a slasher flick. As I snapped away, CJ stealthily lurked behind her, creating an atmosphere of suspense. We staged various poses to mimic a thrilling chase, culminating in a dramatic shot using fake blood, with Britney sprawled on a concrete slab, adding a touch of cinematic flair to the scene. It was an absolute highlight!
After that, they switched into their masks and custom cloaks, limited editions that perfectly suited the eerie vibe. Posing amidst the concrete ruins, they climbed atop a beam and struck powerful stances like guardians of the night. We then transitioned into a stunningly romantic series of shots. Picture this: Britney perched atop CJ, both enveloped in crimson hues from the staged blood, all set against the backdrop of a dilapidated building.
I vividly recall the thrill of discovering that small, flat concrete space, a hidden gem away from our original spot. The overgrown hazardous plants and wild weeds lent an air of mystery to the setting. This section of the shoot became my favorite, as we utilized fake blood and portable lights to craft an intimate yet striking tableau. CJ exuded a sense of dominance while posing with Britney, perfectly balancing strength and tenderness in this captivating moment. It beautifully captured the vibrant love shared between these two star-quality individuals.
