This client reached out wanting an updated family photo and replacements of the kids' school photos -- because, well, school photos -- need I say more?
We met at the Fort Worth Water Gardens -- played hide and seek, splashed in the water and climbed walls (mom was way more relaxed about it than me, I guess I'm not as cool of a mom as I thought;)
I delivered A LOT of images to this family (more than they could want or need) and our session was only 30 minutes! I can get good shots in a short time AND have fun while we are doing it!
I mean LOOK -- I want to hang up some of these photos and they're not even my kids, lol

These first time parents are expecting a summer baby!
We connected the minute we met because, I, myself have two summer babies and I understood mom's complaints about how miserable it is to be so far along in pregnancy during the heat of a Texas summer.
PLUS, their current 'child' is a silver lab (and as many of you know, we got a silver lab puppy on Christmas morning;) But despite the complaints and a concern about how their dog will handle the new addition, this young couple was beaming with excitement and anticipation of bringing a sweet girl into the world! I'm honored to have been a small part of their journey…

I've had so many amazing clients this spring and I've shared very few from our times together. Well, that's about to change!
Here are a few of my favorite images from a recent prom session...
Maddox is a junior this year, so I hope I get to capture these memories for her again next year (cough, cough, mom and dad;)
I know it's been 'awhile' since I've been to a prom but it's a completely experience nowadays. These two had a session with me and then headed to a second photography session with a large group of friends! I mean, back in the 'decade I graduated high school', we pretty much stood in front of a solid backdrop at the venue, smiled for a quick photo and called it a day 🤷 But I love this new trend and look forward to more of these...

This client reached out to me, asking if we could do a moving/new home photo shoot. The answer was a resounding "YES!" because I welcome the opportunity to challenge my creativity! I'm happy with the way these images turned out! AND more importantly, this family has record of an exciting milestone in their lives...

Saturday, April 9th and Sunday April 10th
Location in Arlington
6:00pm - 7:30pm
$100 = 15 minutes
(minimum 5 images)
$50 non-refundable deposit to hold spot/time slot

I photographed the Brays earlier this year when they welcomed baby Luke into the world... and soon they will be celebrating their first Christmas as a foursome!!!

I know we've all heard it. But you don't believe it until it's actually happening. These days and years with young children fly by quicker than we want, so be sure to capture this precious season of life!!! Not only will these images fill your social media accounts and frames on walls in your home, they are documentation of your family history -- for future generations to look at, ask questions, and enjoy!!!

SQUEEZE!!!
This sweet girl could not get enough of her little brother. She didn't want to let go of him throughout their family session.
It was SO sweet to witness and I'm glad I caught a few shots for mom and dad. They will serve as a special reminder of their love, on days when these siblings are driving each other (and their parents) crazy, lol

To say it's HOT in Texas during the summer is an understatement! When walking outside, it feels like a hair dryer is blowing on you. UGH! While it may not be optimal to get ready for a family photo shoot (only to have your hair frizz, makeup run down your face within minutes, oh yeah, and don't forget the sweat stains, lol), there are ways to beat the heat! When I asked this family if they were willing to get in the creek, they had their shoes off within seconds! So... who else wants to splash around with me?!?!

These may not be your average 'posed' photos (although I did and always will take those as well;) but I would have a hard time choosing my favorite...
