every slow season has a transformative effect… but this current slow season has been full of unexpected twists.
we’re so conditioned to always want more, i’m trying to train my mind to stop & smell the roses.
spring is in the air, the flowers are blooming bright yellow everywhere, the nights are getting later. a sudden sense of rebirth of new ideas and inspiration towards my newest sessions are developing. i can feel my creative rut coming to a close.
this ap lately has had me feeling insanely uninspired. the color grey comes to mind. endless scrolling, where everything looks the same… same poses, same outfits, same lighting.. just a copy of a copy. but still with each new shoot i book this season, that little spark still lights up in me to create something magical and unique for my special longtime loyal clients 🫶🏽
every night before bed i ask myself who did you serve today? most days it’s my husband and my sweet dog, but on the days i have photo sessions ~ i get to serve you.
this season of my life sure has been a rough one for me, but we’re on the mend.
my next chapter is loading, a fresh start, a new leaf, I’m turning the page 📖 springtime you beautiful little thing you 🌼 thank you for serving us
