The Soul of the Pose. There is a common myth that posed means stiff. But to me, a pose is simply the canvas. The emotion you express to it is the paint.

I love the intentionality of a guided moment, the way a slight tilt of the chin or the lingering touch of a hand can turn a photograph into a fine art painting. I don’t just pose you and click; I guide you into a space where you can breathe, and then I wait for the spark. It’s that split second after the pose, the genuine laugh, or the quiet exhale, that makes my creative heart sing!

Forget the labels of posed versus candid. What truly matters is that you feel seen. It’s about being guided into your own unique rhythm, capturing the quiet, romantic energy that exists only between the two of you, so that the final art resonates with your soul and no one else’s.

Hi, I’m Kerry Jeanne. I document swoon-worthy celebrations on film for the hopelessly romantic soul 💚

Currently booking for 2026 & 2027.

Some of my favorite black & white moments from Corinne & Nathan’s wedding reception. I know we all are loving color right now, but there is just something so timeless about black and white, especially on film.

When you strip away the color, all that is left are the deep, heartfelt emotions or a gesture that might have gone unnoticed, like Corinne gently holding up the train of her gown during a quiet moment ✨

I have friends everywhere ✨

Happy , my friends! As some of you know, I am an enthusiastic Star Wars fan. Every single movie is my favorite and Leia and Rey are my favorite characters.

Visiting Galaxy’s Edge healed a bit of me and brought me back to my childhood, when Star Wars was on the tv constantly. I used to dream (maybe still do) of becoming a Jedi and at one point, when the obsession was at its peak, I invented an original character named Mirky. So many fun (and angst ridden) stories written about her and her paramour, Xanatos, during my formidable teen years.

Star Wars feels like home and I’m happy to share a bit of it via my camera 💚

Finally getting a chance to share this sweet proposal session at Ruby Beach! I’m friends with Jacob’s mom, (a brilliant photographer!), who reached out to me months ago, asking if I photographed proposals. They are actually one of my favorites to shoot as it’s such raw emotion!

After months of preparation between Lissa, Jacob, and I, it was go time. Initially, I was going to wait for the couple, then follow them down, but I decided it would be more covert to go down and pretend I was photographing the landscape near the spot I scouted out for Jacob. I set up my phone on a log to capture it all.

It worked. Ish. I was so covert, I was overt. Once they made it down and to my spot, Gracie made a beeline for me and asked if I could take a photo of her and her boyfriend, who was visiting the coast with her, because I looked like a professional who knew what I was doing. It took ALL OF MY WILLPOWER to not grin like the Cheshire Cat, you guys!

You can see the immediate aftermath in the video of them walking away, and Jacob glancing back. After she said yes, I revealed myself, and her expression was one I won’t soon forget.

Honestly, it was one of the sweetest proposals I’ve ever been a part of, and I couldn’t have been more flattered to be hired by a family of photographers. Gracie and Jacob, I truly wish you both all the best!

Emulating the epic romance of Mr. Darcy and Lizzie Bennet for an engagement session calls for locations that blend dramatic natural beauty, Regency-era elegance, and quiet, intense intimacy. Whether choosing iconic filming locations such as Chatsworth or Stourhead, or places with a similar moody, romantic aesthetic, these settings promise a truly picturesque start to your “drama.”

A curse is on her, if she stay
Her weaving, either night or day,
To look down to Camelot.
She knows not what the curse may be;
Therefore she weaveth steadily,
Therefore no other care hath she,
The Lady of Shalott.

Reminiscing about this shoot with that was inspired by and Tennyson today as I dream up all things flowers, summer, and poetry in motion ✨

Ireland wouldn’t be Ireland without her generous, kind-hearted people, and I wanted to take this St Patrick’s day to highlight some of the Irish wedding industry creatives that I’ve come to know and admire so much. I’m truly lucky to have worked with you all and cannot wait to come back! 🍀
