“After women, flowers are the most lovely thing God has given the world” ~ Cristian Dior

Dior cherished the Impressionists images of the region’s sun, sky, wind, sea and cliffs. He adopted all these elements as the underlying inspirations for his fabric patterns and colors.
Dior translated Claude Monet’s “The Artist’s Garden at Giverny” into a dress adorned with chiffon petals and touches of green and purple. He used fabric as generously as Monet painted it - gathered in at the waist then flared to below the calf to give an innovative silhouette.

Moments like these…..

We had a beautiful day in Gordes. Started off with macarons and drinks at Laduree, wandering around her enchanted streets, ended with delicious dinner and pouring rain.
We were all drenched, I’m dying laughing, I hadn’t felt that young & free in quite sometime.
We were rewarded with the most amazing rainbow as we drove out of the village. Absolutely priceless memories

January was a much needed time off but man was it hard to come back.
I felt so lost, like I had lost every ounce of my mojo both in creativity and business.
I’m finally feeling more like myself and I’m off on an adventure to one of my favorite places…Savannah!!
The low country holds a piece of my heart and Savannah is my favorite city in the area, yes even over Charleston 🙈.
I’m so excited to explore her beautiful squares, draped in Spanish moss, and her mystique that always draws me in. Savannah will be joining my Low country collection releasing in April.
Follow along as I visit my favorite places but also some new ones, I’m excited to be taking a workshop all about wax seals & calligraphy with the amazing (this is the most amazing store)

I got caught up in feeling I needed to create something different, something beyond a pretty picture. After spending time speaking to so many of you at markets and in my DM’s……
I am creating beyond a pretty picture, I’m telling a story of the places I visit, I’m sharing the beauty of our everyday with how I “see”.
Learning and trying new things will always be part of my creative practice. This helps us learn, fail, grow and see what we truly love.

If we create from our heart, be true to ourselves and trust our vision, we’ve already created something magical.

2024 🎉
I can’t believe it’s the New Year, and if I’m being honest I feel stuck in this weird space of in between.
So I thought Instagram, it’s where my people are 🥰
It may be a bit quiet around here as I figure out how best to balance all the amazing things I’d like to do with my body telling me to rest, reset and replenish.
I’m so excited for what 2024 holds, especially some amazing trips I have planned (taking you BTS with me of course)

I’m knee deep in Lowcountry salt marshes and live oak trees draping with Spanish moss. Outside of Paris, it doesn’t get much better than a beautiful lazy day in the Lowcountry

This new collection will release sometime in February and I am so excited! Like my Monet inspired collection this one has a huge part of my heart and I’ve been curating it for what seems a lifetime.
I can’t wait to share a piece of our beautiful country that has stolen my heart, gives me peace, and inspires me with every visit.

In the meantime I am retiring a few prints and have a few “blemished” prints that will be available during the Live on Sunday Nov 26th.
I’ll also have a few framed pieces from previous collections that haven’t sold, and any other requests y’all may have ☺️

Water, paths & sunrises all hold awe & wonder for me.
I catch myself longing to wake before the sun, to watch the world wake up and the sunrise paint it beautifully.
Paths hold such mysteries just over the hill or around the corner.
Water calms the soul but ignites inspiration.
Magic is all around us, we just need to be more observant.

Flowers+light+clouds are my daily awe & wonder.
Even more so, I love capturing them as I see them…soft, feminine, enchanting and beautifully imperfect.
This love of blur and softer images led me to shoot film and to embrace the imperfect.

So glad Hannah was with us this year, she fits right into our craziness and helps balance us out 🩵

It’s a beloved cafe in Paris, serving southern comfort food I grew up on, by a sweet Carolina girl.
Food & Love transcend language barriers!
The French gather together to really enjoy food and the company of their friends.

I love this quote, so simple yet so powerful, For this is what I want in my photography
Yet life seems to always get in the way of me creating, or is it me making excuses so I never start?
August was supposed to be my month off, to focus on rest, reflection, creating
But once something seems to work in our small business it’s hard to step away out of fear

We sat out to find this beautiful local pond, in search of my own waterlilies. I’ve been obsessed with Monet, the willows, his waterlilies since stepping foot into the Orangarie in October
The sunset did not disappoint and although I can never do them justice like Monet, I’m pretty proud of the pieces I and my beloved camera created.

I still don’t have the words to articulate my thoughts or feelings about “Lean In” retreat
First and foremost it was about connection, which is truly my lifeline, without it I fall apart.
We were an instant family! The level of comfort, support & encouragement that was present helped each of us tear down walls of insecurities, and just let go
I stepped in front of the camera with a confidence I rarely have, I pushed my body to its limits, I made lifelong friendships, I reconnected with myself…I will never forget it.
I felt SEEN
I felt HEARD
I felt FREE

At first I was a bit sad I only shot 4 rolls of film but it was never about that, it was about connections and letting go ❤️

Thank you for always sharing your whole heart! I miss all your faces already
