WATERLOO ARTS FEST SEPT 9, 2023
Join us at the NEOMHA stage next Saturday, Sept 9 at the Waterloo Arts Fest and you’ll catch a great line up of local and traditional music in our beautiful shady spot at this fun community festival.
Then stick around for a jam session afterwards! NEOMHA (Blue Sky's parent organization) will take over the stage in the Sculpture Garden for a celebration of traditional music and we would love to have you join us. Bring your instruments and we’ll make a circle or two.
We’ll also have some nice snacks and cold drinks as just a little hospitality for volunteers and friends who stop by. And of course you can come early and enjoy all the wonderful arts experiences the festival has to offer!

The Lake Erie Folk Fest returns on Saturday, April 30th! Their last festival took place in February of 2020, just before the pandemic silenced our instruments and voices. Now they are making plans for a safe return to Euclid's Shore Cultural Centre to celebrate traditional music and community. They can't do it without you, so please consider a donation and make plans to attend in April.

The weather has been exceptional lately, and it looks like it's going to be another fantastic evening for the final concert in our Old Music for a New World series. We have confirmed we will be outside this evening, Saturday Sept 18, starting with picnicking at 4pm, on the beautiful lawn of First Baptist Church on Fairmount. We hope you'll join us! Join us Saturday, Sept 18, 4-7pm on the back lawn of First Baptist Church, Cleveland Heights, for an evening of great music with Eric Noden and J Scott Franklin. Eric Noden is an award-winning acoustic blues and roots musician based out of Chicago, Illinois. Eric’s virtuosic fingerpicking guitar blends perfectly with his honey and whiskey-tinged voice. From barrelhouse blues to New Orleans grooves to dazzling guitar instrumentals Eric’s live performances are festive and celebratory events.

J Scott Franklin is a modern renaissance artist, winning admiration worldwide as a vocalist, songwriter, poet, jazz trumpet player and as an innovator in loop pedal performance.

Bring lawn chairs or a blanket, a picnic and beverages, a friend or two… or just come as you are. It’s going to be a great finish to a fun concert season, and we would love to see you there.

Chris Coles live this Saturday! Master saxophonist, jazz instructor and one of Cleveland Magazine's Most Interesting People for 2021 - if you haven't seen Chris Coles yet, you've been missing a lot. He'll bring his inspired and inspiring music to NEOMHA's summer concert series this Saturday, Aug 21, 5-8pm. He'll be joined by up-and-coming jazz vocalist Ava Preston, who at 16 is already amazing audiences at venues around Greater Cleveland. Together, they'll bring us a show you won't want to miss.
