SUSPENSION ANNOUNCEMENT: Following last month's SMASH SUCCESS "Bash on the Brazos" at the Waco Convention Center, an incident occurred following the event backstage involving "The Scorn" Tommy Prince & Gabe Wilder, Jett Lyon and Tyler Jett. Venue officials met with HOT officials to review surveillance footage, damage assessed & resolutions. "We do apologize to the venue for the unprofessional actions that occurred. We have agreed on a financial resolution with the venue for damages," said HOT Owner Henry Witt III, "Myself and staff have reviewed footage and spoken with witnesses and to summarize, Tommy Prince & Gabe Wilder were the aggressors in a confrontation with Jett Lyon who was recovering from his match with Brent McKenzie. Moments after the confrontation turned physical and bystanders attempted to separate the parties. No further incident developed. The committee has issued disciplinary action." HOT Wrestling has announced that Tommy Prince & Gabe Wilder will both serve a 30 day suspension and have been fined an undisclosed amount. 📣TONY SNOW: “NO REMATCH FOR PURPLE HAZE!” — In a video sent to our social media team this morning, Tony Snow, the manager of the new HOT Tag Team Champions “The United Nations of Domination” said he refuses to honor the rematch clause for Purple Haze, who held the titles until Snow’s team beat them for the titles last week at Bash on the Brazos. The controversial ending of the match saw Snow sneak a pair of brass knuckles to his client Brixton Shaw, who subsequently and effectively used them to knock Stevie Hendrix unconscious and won the match. Snow has rejected the rematch clause on the official grounds of an “unsafe work environment.” This is rejection can be overturned, but only after a thorough review by HOT officials, which generally takes no less than 30 days.
