BLACK FRIDAY 5K RUN/WALK in Shelbyville, Indiana, on well....BLACK FRIDAY, November 29, 2024! Check Energy2Action.com for registration and information! This is a fun flat, fast, chip timed event! Funny turkey trophies for overall winners and age group winners 3 places deep! New this year - black hoodie sweatshirts available (with the this art)! Why shop when you can run or walk?? This event benefits our local food pantry!!! Come join the fun and kick off the holiday season!!!

OH THE FUN! This is the 3rd year for this event in Shelbyville, Indiana! Fun for the family if you do a team of 3 or 4 people! People travel from all over the Midwest to compete! Fun to watch too! Race start/finish is at the busy Franklin Farmers Market!! Course is on scenic paved trails. Chip timing. Finisher Medals! Farm animal trophies for overall and age group winners! OH THE FUN! 100 Vegetables/Fruits out on the course for you to bring in for $1.00 each (limit 5 per runner). Two Watermelons out on the course that you can bring in for $5! This event benefitS Kic-IT a Johnson County non-profit that helps young adults get on their feet in the community! PITCH IN GIFT CARDS AND CASH AT THE RACE FOR KIC-IT. Gift cards should be purchased from businesses that have Franklin stores so the Kic-It kids can use them easily! Free Half Pint Kids Run at 7:45 (10 and under). Playground and splash pad located very close to the start finish!
