Rivets & Roses is a wedding photography studio in the NE arts district of Minneapolis.

The studio features the work of 5 amazing artists: Thea Volk, Leslie Plesser, Marc James, Natalie Finazzo and Desiree Mostad.

The nearby charm of the Stone Arch Bridge and views of the Minneapolis skyline were what drew Alex and Abby to host their wedding at Minneapolis Event Centers’ Grand 1858 Venue.

Their ceremony took place outside in the garden area, surrounded by romantic, ivy-covered iron gates & classic Minneapolis brickwork. We wandered around Saint Anthony Main for portraits and were graced with the most delicious, golden autumn light. After a series of heartfelt toasts, the DJ kept the dance floor packed until well after the last cupcake had been devoured.

Madonna + Luke's wedding was small, intimate, and the perfect blend of romance and ease.

Instead of a traditional wedding, they encouraged guests to treat the celebration like a “nice night out with dinner and a commitment ceremony,” creating an atmosphere that was laid-back, connected, and authentically them.
