My 19-year-old son, Marc, is looking to earn some cash. He is willing to perform hurricane clean-up, fall yard clean-up, moving help (must have moving truck and additional help if furniture is involved), demolition duties such as clean up job sites, load/unload materials, tear down structures, etc. (supervision required). Marc is 6’3”, pretty strong, efficient, and dependable. His rate begins at $25 p/hr and it can change depending on the job. Please message my wife, LaToya, at (504) 810-9668 if you are interested.

Currently, we are servicing Mandeville, Madisonville, Covington and Abita Springs. However, we will service Slidell, Lacombe, Pearl River, Folsom, Tangipahoa Parish, Jefferson Parish, and Orleans Parish for large jobs, but the rate will increase depending on the work needed and to include travel expenses.

I would like to thank Chase Visions for their contribution to us so that we can feed some of the linemen in our area who are working hard to restore power

Tomorrow, we will feed 55 linemen with AMPP Construction in Hammond and the linemen crew hosted at Casa Bella Magnolia by the gracious Ms. Sydney Ray.

We plan to offer these wonderful crews a nice, hearty meal to show our appreciation of their hardwork.

Thank you, everyone, for all of your support.

UPDATE: Food was delivered to the Hilton in New Orleans for AMPP instead of Hammond. Also, food was delivered to Casa Bella Magnolia. This has been a very exhausting day between storm cleaning and cooking, but, I pray everyone is fed and happy.

Hurricane Ida was a beast! But, we are Louisiana Strong!!!

Grits & Greens Creole Catering would like to feed our beloved linemen who are working tirelessly to restore power. We are offering to feed up to 100 linemen and we will deliver the meals to their site.

Please contact LaToya, Business Manager, at 504-810-9668 with details if you know a crew in need of a good meal.

Hey Grits and Greens Fans,

We have decided to continue to limit operations because of the COVID-19 variants in the area.

As a father and husband, I take the safety and well being of my family very seriously. While I appreciate the concept of individual freedom, I do not believe it should come at the cost of lives. My family and I have lost a lot of people to this virus because of individual freedoms and we are not willing to jeopardize our lives during this pandemic.

Sadly, the response to the pandemic is driving us away from our home….again. We have decided to return to the Pacific Northwest by June 2022. From 2014 until 2020, we lived in the Seattle area and we were very excited to return home to Louisiana last summer. What we did not expect was the negative impact that this decision took on our livelihood. For the safety and sanity of my family, this is the best decision for us.

For now, we are still accepting catering requests in St. Tammany, Jefferson, and Orleans Parishes that will agree to COVID safety regulations.

Thank you, all, for your continued support and God Bless.

Yours in Culinary Service,

Chef Barry
