Behind the scenes of photographing my own senior… and then the final images that still make me tear up.

This shoot just hits different.
Because he is the reason I ever picked up a camera.

I was a single mom trying to figure it all out. I wanted something that let me be there for him while still supporting us. Photography became that “something,” and he became the reason I never stopped hustling—even when I was tired, overwhelmed, or unsure.

Every long night editing.
Every wedding weekend.
Every risk I took to grow my business…
I did it for him.

Now here we are—his senior year.
The full-circle moment I never saw coming, but one I’m so grateful for.

And in the end, the little boy who inspired me to pick up a camera is the reason this business became what it is today.
My success started with him—and it’s still because of him.
