💍 Netflix Love Is Blind star, Iyanna McNeely, recently got engaged to Alexander Lewis, and Jason Kaczorowski Photography was honored to capture the couple’s engagement on December 14, 2024 at The Rookery Building in Chicago.

McNeely and Lewis enjoyed an evening at the Joffrey Ballet’s performance of The Nutcracker at Chicago’s Civic Opera House before Alex lured Iyanna to The Rookery under the ruse of participating in a private architectural tour.

Alexander rented and commissioned a violinist to perform a medley of love songs as the couple entered the building. They proceeded to the Grand Staircase in the Light Court, where Alexander stood facing Iyanna and confessed how he couldn’t wait to spend the rest of his life with her. Iyanna’s overjoyed expression of shock was captured before Alex bowed to one knee to ask for her hand in marriage.

Following their proposal, the couple captured portraits throughout The Rookery, including the building’s iconic iron Oriel Staircase, which winds down in a spiral from Floor 12 to Floor 2.

Alexander and Iyanna was the third proposal we photographed this Saturday at Chicago’s Rookery Building and we they pulled out all the stops to ensure their holiday proposal was absolutely incredible!

Selecting Chicago's annual Christmas Tree begins with a nominating letter. After going through over 100 applicants for this year's Christmas tree, Chicago found it's tree in the 2600 block of Kimball Avenue.

Matt's Uncle, Jim Mulligan, planted the 53-foot Colorado blue spruce in Logan Square nearly 50 years ago which was donated this winter to Millennium Park. Matt knew that it would be the perfect place to propose to his girlfriend, Shannon.

Tom couldn’t wait to ask Lauren to marry him this afternoon at Mary Bartelme Park right down the street from the couple’s apartment in their Chicago West Loop neighborhood where the two take frequent walks together.
