Subin pulled out all the stops for his proposal at The Rookery Building in downtown Chicago!
From fresh flowers & candles to two photographers from our team + giant illuminated letters that proclaimed “MARRY ME”, Subin made sure to shock Michelle as she walked in the doors.
Subin waited on top of the staircase of the Rookery’s Light Court for Michelle to arrive. Michelle’s sister helped lure her to The Rookery under a little white lie that she was going to meet Subin for an office holiday party.
From the moment she arrived, Michelle was blown away by the lengths Subin had gone to in order to plan this perfect moment. Subin descended the staircase illuminated in candles as Michelle proceeded down an aisle of flower pedals to meet Subin at the base of the opulent staircase. Subin told Michelle how much she means to him and how he can’t wait to spend his life loving her. She, of course, exclaimed “Yes!”

Angela & Reade chose to be surrounded by phamily & phriends during their ceremony in the Boston Public Garden and held a raging reception inside a Premium Hospitality Suite at Fenway Park with a rare one set 161 minute performance by Phish from 8:30pm until 11:11pm featuring 21 songs!
After a lengthy delay caused by thunder, lightning and downpours, Phish closed out its two-night post-Independence Day series at Fenway Park in Boston with a one-set show that stretched nearly the length of a two-set show and gave the soaked crowd of 37,731 a chance to dance some of the raindrops off.
Saturday’s weather was classic July in New England — 90 degrees and muggy all day with plenty of sun, until a wave of strong thunderstorms barreled through late in the afternoon bringing torrential downpours and a break in the humidity. With dark clouds gathering over the Fenway area, the ballpark opened its doors earlier than usual and encouraged fans to get inside before the heavy stuff started.
As the circa 1912 Fenway Park concourses filled up with wet fans waiting to be allowed onto the field or into the lower grandstand, word came from the band that the show would go on but without a set break due to the weather delay and the venue’s curfew. (Phish archivist Kevin Shapiro tweeted Saturday that he could not recall the band ever before playing one set rather than two due to weather.) When fans were finally allowed to take their places, many were unsure what to expect from the non-traditional arrangement.
Having already blown through the supposed 10:30 p.m. Fenway curfew half an hour prior, Trey Anastasio thanked the soggy crowd and noted what an honor it was to be playing the home of the reigning World Series champion Boston Red Sox before the band left the stage.

10 years ago Jason Kaczorowski Photography reached a milestone - I had photographed my 500th wedding! I celebrated by hosting a huge event and invited all of my clients and the Chicago wedding community to celebrate with me.
At the party I debut a film created by Jeremy "Boom Boom" Bircher entitled "Backstage Pass" which followed me capturing music festivals and weddings, drawing parallels between the two worlds. This is the teaser trailer I released before the film's official debut and launch party on February 13, 2013.
When I first began my wedding photography career in 2005, I was shooting for several studios and capturing weddings for colleagues, often photographing 2-3 weddings every weekend. It wasn't uncommon in those early days for me to photograph 70+ weddings a year!
Over a decade later, I only accept 1-2 commissions per month, focusing on quality over quantity. Last season I photographed my 650th wedding. I have two photographers that shoot for my studio and we capture as many as 100 proposals per year.
In 2025 I will celebrate two decades of photographing weddings. By the time I reach this next milestone, my studio will have captured over 500 proposals.
