PRICING TRANSPARENCY // Can we be real for a minute? A lot of the pricing you see online or get quoted in sales calls is actually much less than what you are going to end up paying 🤥

There are a lot of reasons for that; some big companies are just not upfront about huge fees and additional charges, some vendors only quote the minimum spend, some aren't clear on how they get paid and some just show pricing online that is not even real! 🤯

We are not fans of that. ❌ Weddings can be pricey because they usually involve more elements than you know you need at the start and you just aren't aware of some of the pricing structures of the locations and vendors you are hiring.

So, while accurate pricing may not be what you want to hear - we think that is what couples should be hearing. And while we don't like to be the bearer of bad news, we love to help our couples book the right location and services for their day because they have the best information.

CAPTION THIS // What is it that you want to feel on your wedding day?

We are guessing that it is not stressed, rushed, unsure, disappointed, frustrated... but, more often than not, this is a common feeling that brides will express after their day. Which is the worst! We want you to be in the moment, happy and worry-free which is why you need a planner.

Trust us, no matter how much you plan out your day, how small it is and how much you think you have dialed in... it is not the same as having someone dedicated to dealing with all the things on your day, trouble-shooting in the moment issues and being responsible for all the things. Because as we all know, the best way to not worry, is not to be the one in charge at all 😉

There is also not enough appreciation for having a professional who is advising you based on experience and expertise to make sure your day is well planned from the start. Trust us, something always happens on the day that is unexpected or unplanned and having a dedicated person to worry about that for you? Priceless.

WHAT'S FIRST? // It is hard to know where to start when eloping, but we have some advice that might surprise you ...

You don't want to know your ceremony location, the date you're getting married or even your guest count first - you want a planner.

And that is not because we are planners, we don't care who you hire! But, hire someone. Why? Because a wedding is an investment, no matter how small it is - when you invest blindly - you aren't going to get the results you want.

Once you have the vision, the best thing you can do is have someone advise you on what is available, how many guests are ideal for your budget, how far your budget can go and how to get the most out of the experience.

WHY ELOPE? / There are so many reasons we can think of, but the best one by far is that it is the only wedding that is going to be just about the two of you!

No matter how well you plan, if you are hosting 50, 100 or 200+ guests it means you are going to be worried about your guests and not blissfully enjoying the moment - I mean have you ever hosted a dinner party for 50 or 100?? 👀

When you elope, you get to enjoy the day and you have more time to just relax. Your day does not begin as early ( hello 1pm hair and makeup 😍 ), your photos aren't rushed while people wait, you have a ton of time to talk to everyone ( if you choose to have any guests at all ) and you don't have to worry about a formal program or having every minute be filled with an activity or someone asking for a photo! 😎

LOCATION LOCATION / Did you know that the hardest part of planning your elopement wedding is choosing your location and date?

Well, for some it might be the guest count or dealing with family, but as far as actual small wedding planning goes - it is the location decision. Why you ask? Because the location basically dictates everything.

Your location availability will determine your date, it also decides what area you are in, what your reception/dinner plans may be and has a huge impact on the budget. For destination elopements, it has an impact on where you and your guests will be staying and generally the location availability will determine which vendors are available. It is actually the biggest decision you make and we advise not doing it without a planner to walk you though all of it - because once you book it, there is no going back.
