The devastation from Helene is just unbelievable. The response from our government has been inadequate, slow, and disgraceful.

The response from the people who live in the impacted areas is amazing to see. A close friend of mine and his family live in Asheville. They are, by comparison, OK. Their focus is now on those that are not OK.

The Oxbow Orchard Harvest Party was a huge success and so much fun had by all. The party was an amazing way to close the Hambones by the Fire BBQ season. It was a great evening at Broadview Brewing Company . Thank you for hosting Hambones by the Fire BBQ as the food truck today. Great people and great music. We appreciate everyone who visited us this evening and had our BBQ. The evening is a wrap and now it is time to enjoy a cold Broadview Brewing Octoberfest. Cheers until we see you again.

The weekend weather is looking amazing and if you are looking for a fun spot check out Broadview Brewing Company this Saturday. Live music, cold beverages and award winning Hambones by the Fire BBQ . We will be serving up smoked brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, 5 cheese mac and cheese, porky BBQ beans and slaw. Serving from 5pm to 9pm.

T.G. Young Park in Walton Hills is where you will find Hambones by the Fire BBQ today starting around 530 pm. Give yourself a break midweek from cooking and stop by. The menu today includes smoked brisket, pulled pork or chicken, porky baked beans, five cheese mac and cheese and cole slaw. Eat it at the park while you enjoy the Walton Hills concert this evening or take it home. We hope to see you!
