All I can say is WOW!!! A beautiful bride who can roll with whatever mother nature throws at her with grace and elegance, keeping her composure through all the last minute adjustments and having a sense of humor where others might have broken down into tears.

A handsome groom who's inner strength can move mountains, and an easy smile that lights up a room. His only goal for the day was to call Ryann his wife.

the hardest working florist who goes above and beyond even if that means standing in a downpour to make sure everything absolutely perfect 🌺 and creating the most stunning displays I've ever seen!

I rarely get a moment to take any photos, and when I do they're usually terrible 😂. Everything and everyone was 100 times more magnificent than I could ever show.

These fuchsia crepe myrtles have become one of my absolute favorites, they bloom for over 3 months and create a stunning backdrop!

We love creating surprises around every corner. When you enter this courtyard it's the perfect setting for group photos or just the spot to take a first look.

There's nothing like the pure joy of knowing you're with the person who totally gets you!

I'm so grateful to spend a year getting to know not just wonderful couples but their families and their friends as well. I miss them so much when it's over, but my life is much richer for it.

A day in the life of a farmer!
The day starts before dawn and end when the work is done...no matter how hot or cold. You ask a farmer and they will tell you "that's why tractors have headlights". They will also say "it's no big deal" & "thank you" just for a cold d**k, they have a thick skin and deep calluses... They live a life of gratitude and service...a farmer is a true neighbor and friend... Giving so much while asking for so little.

Tonight when you sit down to dinner in an air conditioned home or restaurant give thanks to the farmer who is still at work making it all possible ❤️

So much goes on to get ready for an event that no one ever sees and would only notice if it wasn't accomplished. Early mornings and late nights are the norm. I do it because I love it, and never take for granted how lucky I am.

Flowers are such an important part of any event, it breaks my heart when people overlook them... Or feel they can do without. This bride was on such a tight budget she just couldn't afford anything extra...

So I helped out. The galvanized pot came from the Dollar Tree, a bit of leftover burlap runner and some jute string tied around a potted plant that will go in the garden after.

We're lucky to be surrounded by a field full of beautiful natural material, the feathery grass reminded me of baby's breath... Add in some vintage Bud vases and instant table decor.

Beauty and elegance doesn't have to cost a fortune.

Every life is precious. We have our hopes and dreams, our accomplishments and failures, the ones we love and those who love us. This has been a hard year for so many...the struggles of those planning their futures, but it's been really hard for those who want to say goodbye.

We felt so honored to help celebrate the life of Trudy, she was a mother, a sister a grandmother, a friend and a complicated person like so many of us. She was recognized by presidents and congressman, the flag was displayed in her honor in 1993 over the White House. She won woman of the year... twice! Her life was important, and her loss was heartbreaking. She had a free spirit that sometimes went against the grain. She accomplished so much living her best life.

In this business of helping look toward the future it's a wonderful reminder to celebrate the past.
