Doggy Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pies are made with real pumpkin & unflavored gelatin with oat crust. Gelatin aids in joint health, improves dogs skin, hair and nails. It also helps with digestion and bone health along with adding protein.

Pies are made to order. Should be refrigerated up to a week and frozen in an air tight container up to a month. The pies are 4″ round.

My favorite Halloween Cake design. 💀
I don’t really like fondant so I made this with all buttercream and piped it all over. I used raspberry jam for the blood. It wasn’t as hard to decorate as I thought it would be. The most difficult part is getting the shape and the color right.

What do you think? Does it look real enough?

The design is not just for Halloween. I had a customer who had a brain tumor. She ordered this cake and asked to put a whole strawberry inside to represent the tumor. She said it’s so she can eat her tumor. Love her sense of humor! 😆
Another customer ordered one for his daughter who graduated from med school. She’s going to be a surgeon. ☺️

The best part about baking custom cakes for me is getting to know my customers personally, learning about their stories and being a part of their celebrations. 🥰 I love my job!

Who knew listening to your kids can pay off? ☺️
Got my big break 2 years into Sinful Treats - an order of 19,800 cookies from the
HOW? They do a Polar Express themed train ride during the holidays. We took our then 4 yr old son on it. They served Cookies on the train. He took one bite, didn’t like it, told me, “Mommy, you should make the cookies”. So I took his advice. ☺️ I gave the event coordinator Snickerdoodle samples. She loved them, and ordered 19,800! That was in 2011.

No kitchen, no crew! I made friends with a restaurant owner who let me use the kitchen at night after they closed. I called a few friends who wanted to make extra money. So, in a tiny kitchen, the size of a closet, with an oven with only two racks, a crew of 6 people, including myself, we baked from 9pm - 3am. I made the dough from scratch. We scooped, baked, packaged, heat sealed and labeled every cookie by hand. We could only bake 192 cookies an hour, our goal was 1000 cookies per night. We did it! We’re still baking for the Polar Express to this day!

This year, we’re prepping to bake 60,000 cookies for the Polar Express train in Old Sacramento and Jamestown. Now having access to a commercial kitchen, we’re able to bake 850 cookies an hour. With a crew of 10 people, we still package every cookie by hand.

Did you know… Sinful Treats Pumpkin Pies were the official pie to set the world record for the Major League Eating Competition.

The winner was consuming 20 lbs 13 oz of Pumpkin Pie in 8 minutes. Followed by known for his Nathan’s Hotdogs eating records, finished 19 lbs 10 oz of Pumpkin Pie. the world’s top ranked female eater, came in third place finishing 12 lbs 8 oz.

Being in business for over 15 years, I’ve had many moments where I wanted to quit. Moments where I question whether I’m still doing what I love. I came so close to throwing in the towel just last year in February. Luckily, I am self-aware enough to know to not make any major decisions when I am going through strong emotions. So I gave myself a few months to think, and to process how I’m feeling. And then in July of that same year, I realized that I would very much regret it if I did quit. I wasn’t happy with the current situation my business was in so what I needed was not to quit but to pivot. I also needed to reassess my goals and vision. I had to remind myself that there’s really no end goal when it comes to business. It’s an infinite game. And that’s what I love about it! 🥰 In addition to baking thousands of cookies this holiday season, I am also running an online marketplace. I was an artist before I was a baker/business owner. I mostly painted landscapes. Then I traded my paint brush for icing. Been a long time since I held a brush. So I’m quite surprised that this turned out great. This is my first time using body paint. My son loves the way it looks. 🥰 Took 2.5 hours but I really did enjoy it!
