Scandinavian Day! 5 hours of Keepsake Portraits with old friends and new last Sunday… I’ve been honored to portray this Norwegian princess at Scan Day since 2021, and the festival just keeps getting better every year!

If you attended and don’t see your child’s Keepsake Portrait here, dm me with a picture of the image I printed at the festival. I want you to have the digital, so I’ll send it right over!

Here it is! Our fun girly take on the Halloween pumpkin theme!! You guys, Chelsea’s studio is SO beautiful, wait till you see it 😍 I adore working with her and can’t wait for this event!

I’m so excited!!! Cinderella from Parties with Character is coming to my studio for a Mommy & Me Painting Party!!!

At the party, you'll paint a pre-sketched canvas of Cinderella & her Pumpkin Carriage as well as have one on one time to talk and take pictures with Cinderella! Each child will take a professional portrait with the princess and take home an autographed 4x6 print of their portrait at the event!


Space is limited, so sign up soon! Cost includes ticket for one adult and one child, painting supplies & instructions & time with Cinderella. Recommended for ages for 4 to 7. Due to limited space please note, prepaid reservations are required. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

*Aprons are available to use. Light snacks will also be served.

How does your kid usually act around a character? …“Wow! I’ve never seen her open up to someone new like this!” (I get this one a lot)
“He’s always so shy around characters, but he’s loving this!” (Yep, this one too!)
“I’ve never seen her so star-struck… she’s usually such a chatterbox!” (Aaaand occasionally this one)

No matter what your little one brings to our time together, I promise to notice and care about their cues, so our time together is perfect… for them. 🥰

Meet & Greet Alert!! Saturday 12:30-4:30pm in Cortland at Summerfest! This is a suuuuper fun event — they always have such unique stuff to do… last year they had a mechanical bull and a climbing wall! Yay for 70’s weather in August, too!!

…This little birthday girl was a baby the last time I saw her—because I’ve been this character at her big sister’s birthday party twice!

Seeing children grow up and blossom as I bring their favorite fairy tales (and life lessons!) to life year after year is just such an honor.

Can you believe this little guy was shy at first?! We had only a few minutes together during a library Meet & Greet to go from shy to hugs and friendship — and THIS is why you shouldn’t hire just anyone in a costume.

When you’re choosing a character company, choose one that cares about YOUR child’s experience and has the skills and compassion to bring your precious kid right into the magic.

I loooove the kids’ reactions when these Keepsake Portraits are coming out of the printer! At this party, I had Dancing-in-anticipation kids, Crossing-my-fingers-that-this-one-is-mine kids, and Eyes-popping-because-this-is-magical kids!

And then there’s the mom — getting messages about how excited she is for the digitals to arrive makes me happy! And I don’t blame her… I mean look at how beautiful kids are and I feel like we really captured the fun we were having in our pictures, too. 🥰

The last memory this birthday girl has with her grandma is of one of my public events. We made new memories together at her birthday party last weekend, and I know that grandma would have been so proud of her little girl (especially those dance moves)!

I always say that being a part of your families’ memories is an honor. And I mean it. You never know which of your moments together will become core memories, and because of that, I personally promise to make all of our moments together full of love and meaning.

You guys!! It takes over 100 hours to create a new character. This one?! I made her costume + accessories, developed the ability to speak/sing/interact/respond/tell stories/ask questions just as she would… plus I created custom activities to fill 2+ hours of full-service entertainment… IN 4 DAYS!!!
…And the debut event was exactly everything we dreamed it would be (“we” being me, the birthday girl, and her mom!!)! Debuts are always exciting, but I’ve never felt *this* comfortable in a brand new character (and that’s saying a lot at this point!)

So all I’m saying is… if you’re in the mood for a most memorable tea party, I’m your girl! ;)

Look who joined the Parties with Character family last weekend!

I am SOOOOO excited! Mad tea parties are such a fun way to celebrate, and the games and Keepsake Craft I designed for her parties are ridiculously fun!

♥️ Mad Hatter Dance Game (think Hot Potato but with a Mad Hatter hat that you have to wear while doing a dance move when the Unbirthday song stops… and the character has to copy whatever dance move you do!)
♥️ Red and White Roses Stop & Go Game (like Red Light Green Light with roses to signal stop and go… but with a kid playing the Queen of Hearts who sends someone back to start by yelling OFF with their head!)
♥️ Chasing the White Rabbit Hide & Seek! (Where each round kicks off with everyone gleefully searching for that rabbit while singing “I’m Late! I’m Late!”)
♥️ THE most adorable Keepsake Craft… Pom Pom Plushie White Rabbits! I’ll post a picture of them soon, when I have an official character image and the reveal of the full dress, too! (Spoiler alert: it’s perfect! 😍)
