Especially during these times, we are reminded that there will always be people who choose hate over love. Exclusion over acceptance. There will always be people quick to say something hurtful because they are afraid of the unknown and unfamiliar.

All we can do is be the living example of a better, kinder way. Tell someone they are beautiful today. Tell them how much they mean to you. Focus on love and always choose to see the positive.

There is so much to be grateful for ❤️

The holiday season is our favorite time to be a Chicago family photographer, and the Breems family perfectly captured why! Colleen and Tim's recent lifestyle session in their beautiful Hinsdale home was pure magic!

Lifestyle photography is all about capturing the real, unscripted moments, and the Breems made it easy. From decorating their tree to sipping hot cocoa in the kitchen, their love and joy radiated throughout their home. Even their adorable puppy, a fluffy ball of energy, got in on the fun, adding an extra layer of playful chaos to the mix!

Our goal isn't to create perfect poses, but to document genuine interactions – a stolen kiss, a shared laugh, the way the pup snuggled up at their feet. These are the fleeting moments that truly matter.

Leaving the Breems, their home filled with the scent of gingerbread and the echo of laughter (and a few happy barks!), we felt grateful. Grateful to capture the magic of the everyday, especially during the holidays. The Breems, with their warmth, laughter, and adorable puppy, reminded me us why we love what we do. Their session was a beautiful reminder that the greatest joy is often found in the simplest moments, shared with the ones you love!
