Don't be afraid to wear whatever attire makes you feel your best on your wedding day. Just because you are doing a small wedding does not mean you should be skimping on the style! In fact, since you aren't paying for 100 guests we think that totally justifies the splurge on those heels you have been wanting for years right?? 😘 xxME

A D V I C E | A good photographer can make or break your small wedding day. We think it is even more important that you hire a professional photographer who is there to capture the important moments of your day because there may be no else to witness it with you or just a handful of guests to help you remember.

But, we also don't think you need to have an eight hour long photo shoot as your elopement day if you don't want that. You can do just two hours of photography and get only your vows and couple photos done if that is more your style. Decide what works best for your plans and the photos you want to receive after your elopement and hire the best for your budget because you are never going to regret having the photos and you can't go back and re-do them, so it is our advice to hire right the first time.

R E M I N D E R | We know, budget is the foremost on your mind when you start planning your wedding and if you didn't know - the biggest determination of your budget is your guest count. So, fewer guests and you spend less money. But, that is not the only benefit to having fewer guests. It also means that you can splurge on the things that are important to you.

Whether you are planning a luxury elopement with all the bells and whistles at a dream destination for the same costs as a standard 100 person wedding back home or doing a simple, but meaningful ceremony at the courthouse in order to use that wedding budget towards other priorities in your life... having fewer guests gives you the flexiblity to do what you want with your budget. And as we see it, just another perk of eloping 😘 xxME

Five years ago, after working as a wedding planner for over 12 years, I realized that there was no good solution for couples wanting to do an affordable small wedding and still have a beautiful and meaningful experience.
