Photography isn't only about lighting, background and color schemes. While those things are important, my favorite thing about being a photographer is the human connection. Capturing moments that are fleeting. Families taking a few minutes from their reunion to freeze time. They will forever have that moment. Parents. Sisters. Cousins. A Navy Pilot taking his final flight and walking to his family, his home. His girls waiting for him eagerly to get a big Dad hug. His wife taking in all the time she has spent alone and the knowledge that those days are now over. It's about embracing love, personality and the present. While a beautiful picture with perfect hair and perfect lighting is important, being able to demonstrate the human connection is so much more fulfilling. Thank you to of my customers for trusting me with their precious memories.
