I'm sure there are lots of photographers in this world who can take photos as well as me, or at least edit in a similar way. But making beautiful photos of your day should only be half the experience. You need someone you are excited to spend the day with, someone fun. I pride myself on making photo-taking not just bearable, but one of the most memorable moments of your day. I will tell jokes that

Even though their paths never crossed while attending the same college in upstate New York, moving to Colorado (separately) and being at the same alumni events on more than one occasion, Allie & Sean finally swiped right on Hinge while skiing Copper Mountain on the same day and decided to grab a drink at the local dive bar near the ski resort. It was obvious that both the universe and technology were begging for them to finally join forces and fall in love!

Four years, two cats, and an adventurous life in Boulder together later, they brought their friends and families together to celebrate their marriage at Chautauqua’s new enchanted garden ceremony spot and community house 🏡🥰.

After a little break and a fun outfit change Liz & Zach and their guests headed to Rembrandt Yard to keep the party going!

They kicked the evening off with a champagne tower and followed it up with a night full of fun featuring a magician, dancing, being silly in their Photo Booth and of course singing happy birthday and blowing out birthday candles for the bride!

We met back up for an adventure session at one of my fav mountain trails for a private session after a few days of much needed r&r following the wedding festivities and, of course, that was perfect too! The entire celebration was beyond amazing and I can’t wait to share even more on my blog soon(ish) so stay tuned! 🥹

When your wedding day is also your birthday it calls for double the celebrating, which is exactly what Liz and Zach did to celebrate their wedding and Liz’s birthday! 💒 🎂

They had two venues with two separate decor aesthetics and vibes (both of them out of this world!), an outfit change in between and double the partying!

They started the day off with a beautiful Jewish ceremony, lunch and dancing at The Flagstaff House in Boulder! Here is a little preview from Part 1 of their day!

After a mid-day break and a fun outfit change, everyone met back up for a birthday celebration and kept the party going at Rembrandt Yard.

Throwback to Taylor and Spencer’s magical sunrise elopement in August 🥹. Fair warning, their sweet moms’ reactions during their ceremony will make you cry.

I’m so glad these two traded the flat land and cornfields in Iowa and eloped to the Colorado mountains for their special day!

After their engagement, Kelsey and Zach managed to plan the most stunning August wedding in only 221 days, which is almost how much time has passed since I’ve posted on Instagram (oops!) but I was (and still am) blown away by how beautifully it all came together and am excited to finally share a handful of favorites from their wedding day!

A whole lot of serendipity took place when Rachel hired a carpenter, Tim, and made him a home cooked meal while he was working on a deck project for her.

The sparks flew and never stopped flying, so after building a beautiful life together with many more sweet moments along the way (including raising mini donkeys and alpacas on their adorable farmstead together) they decided to elope to Colorado and I had the pleasure of having them in front of my camera for their special day!

P.S. If I go missing it’s because I ran away to their farm and am cuddling with the alpacas 🦙

If a ‘little bit of rain’ is good luck, then a torrential downpour has got to be some next level luck and Lauren & Lane completely earned it after their elopement last week. These two, along with their guests, ventured from much warmer states (Texas and Louisiana) but still embraced the cold and rainy weather with so much laughter and endless amounts of joy. They were just happy to be getting married in such a beautiful place! Here is a little look at some of my favorite moments during their elopement experience!

Jacqui and Mat live in Australia, but had an epic US & Europe vacation scheduled this summer and during their Colorado leg of the trip they decided it would be the perfect place to elope! Jacqui’s best friend from university and her partner live here and were able to witness their beautiful mountainside ceremony, share some celebratory champagne and explore the town with them afterward! It was the perfect sweet and simple experience they were after! Here are a few favorite photos from their elopement!

✋🏻 If you don’t swipe to the last photo in this post you’re missing out 😏

It was so wonderful meeting Zach and seeing Liz (my childhood nextdoor neighbor from 20 years ago 🤯) for their engagement session last week! It really is amazing how social media can keep people connected from so many different parts of our lives ❤️

The sunrise was showing off, so we encouraged Zach to show off too by convincing him to do acro-yoga.. for the first time.. on a picnic table in the woods 😂. The fact that he said yes and they made it look this awesome will never not make me laugh. And I’ll just let the rest of these magical photos speak for themselves because holy wow it was a good one!

Every time Mountain Crust has catered a wedding I’m photographing we have *the best time* and I’ve been dying to shoot at their new venue since they first announced it was opening so I was immediately excited when Paige and Pierson reached out to me about their wedding day! The excitement just escalated from there after getting to know these two, learning that they’d be including the cutest dog of honor ever, Archie, in their wedding day and having the most fun reception ever - with beer b**g, a caricature artist and (of course) the Mountain Crust pizza food truck!

I’m so glad my (dog obsessed) team and I got to document Archie’s humans on their best day ever with both photography and videography and can’t wait to share allllll the good stuff, but for now here is a little preview of photos from the day!

Theo had the biggest ever smile on his face watching his parents get married this week and I did too because Lydia and Stephen were the sweetest and SO much fun to photograph! 👋🏻 Just over here slacking on sharing stuff on social media because June has been a busy one, but I’m excited to finally share a little peek at the photos from Beth and Tim’s wedding day!

The epic sunset is just a little extra proof of how magical their day was, but this one was extra special to me because I’ve known Beth and her family for almost two decades and had a front row seat to watching her love story with Tim unfold. It was such a privilege to photograph their wedding. ❤️

The struggle was so real narrowing down which of Sam and Shira’s wedding preview images to share on this corner of the internet because every single moment, human and detail of their day was just too good 🥹. Here are just a “few” of my favorites that show off these two and their perfect wedding day in Estes Park last weekend!

There are so many fun stories to share about these two, so stay tuned for a blog post in the future. For now, I’ll share the adorable story of their first date!

“Sam, ever the romantic, walked up to Shira at the planned meeting spot, got down on one knee, pulled out a ring pop, and stared up at Shira with a big cheesy grin, asking her to go on a first date - we’ll see about marriage! We laughed about it and moved onto the reception - Sam brought a thermos of hot toddies and rainbow insulated mugs for us to enjoy on our walk through the park. We walked around for 2.5 hours talking about our lives, pop culture, holiday plans, and more, and by the end it was clear we were both interested enough in a second date, so as we said our goodbyes, Sam made one more big play (in the context of November 2020 because COVID) and asked Shira if she could give her a kiss. and we did! Date 2 was in the books for next weekend, and we both walked away with grins on our faces.”
