A second French's was added in 1977 in Derry, New Hampshire. A third was added in Chelmsford in 1983. In 1979, the Wamiset Lanes was purchased and a lounge with food was added in 1985. The present location on Main Street was opened in 1994 with a very strong eat-in or take-out business. d French is a 1993 graduate of Johnson & Whales University with a degree in Culinary Arts. After graduation David worked for the Hyatt Regency in Cambridge, as a Banquet Chef for the Harvard Business School, as Executive Sous Chef for the Hynes Convention Center in Boston and held the same position for Aramark. While working for Aramark, David specialized in Large Volume functions ranging in size from 2000 to 10,000 guests. While working in Boston, David also traveled around the country working in American cities like Tampa, New Orleans, Houston, Columbus, Philadelphia and Las Vegas. David also worked for companies such as Toyota, Amway, Budweiser, the Jacobs Brothers Family and at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic body building event. David brings a vast knowledge of International and Regional cooking to French's Catering. David has been known to tell customers "If it's not on our menu, we can still make it."
