Dishes Maven: Please excuse the spots (and the personal injection here)… But I just wanted to show you something that's really special to me. The piece on the bottom is a pie server that a dear friend from Norway, gifted to me. She started me out with pieces for my very own pattern as is the tradition in her family. And the piece on top is from a set of silver plate that my cousin just pulled out of my aunts things and gifted to me. I fell in love! And isn't it remarkable how similar they are?
