So its almost mid May and I havent seen 1 lap of short track racing yet. If you know me well you know when I pursue something I get pretty invested in it. I've been busy working on some new stuff I may share more about sometime soon. Meanwhile if the weather holds out I will possibly be shooting this weekend for my first time this year. Not sure where yet for sure but I'm debating between Wisconsin International Raceway for the Tundra race, Wilmot for IRA, or Plymouth for their dirt late models. If the weather doesn't hold out it will likely be Memorial Day weekend at Shawano, Plymouth or Wilmot. Good luck on your racing seasons 🤘🤘🏁🏁

I'll try to keep this short. It's been such an honor to be out there on the infield at Jefferson for my time in 2021 and all of 2022. I've been able to witness and capture some pretty cool emotion filled moments I haven't spoken much about this but my dearest family member had a grim cancer diagnosis towards the end of the 2022 season which led to me looking at my own life. While I love racing maybe more than anything besides my family it dawned on me I want to do more in the life I have left. I had hoped to come back part time with someone in 2023 but a good option for this didn't seem apparent that would work for everyone. Due to that and some additional life issues I have decided that it would be best not to return to Jefferson Speedway as their track photographer in 2023. Doing so now versus days before the season will allow them the time to get a suitable replacement. I do hope to shoot maybe a handful of races and will share more on that as those dates come closer. My website will remain active until sometime in July. I will probably not be spending the $225 to renew it after that. I really want to thank Jamie Tate for reaching out to me in 2021 to ask if I wanted to be a track photographer at Jefferson, Jess Reidner was a huge help to me my first couple weeks getting used to doing victory lane especially with the bandos, and the safety guys were always awesome to me. I appreciate anyone that's ever bought anything from me. While I never did it for the money and didn't make much off of it I appreciated the support tremendously. If I've forgotten anyone I apologize. Moving forward I will still be doing some photography just not every week. If you ever want senior, portrait or other pictures taken feel free to reach out. 🏳️🏁

Edit to add: one race I will be shooting is the All Stars/IRA race on June 2nd at Dodge County. Maybe Dells opener? Maybe WIR for their big race.? Maybe the Shear? Probably a couple of other IRA races as well.
