Maggie and David are getting married today!

We love having the opportunity to serve a family a second time. Two years ago, Anna had the pleasure of serving David’s cousin Julie for her wedding! This is the second SSE wedding for this family.

David and Maggie both grew up in Marietta and went to Walton High School in East Cobb. They now live in NC.

Their gorgeous wedding will be celebrated at Colleton River Club. Anna Swanson is their lead planner, and she will be assisted by Cassidy Berry today.

It’s WEDDING DAY for Anna and Tommy!

The beautiful Crane Cottage of Jekyll Island Club Resort is the setting of today’s epic event for this wonderful couple. Jennifer has been working diligently with Anna and Tommy since last spring to craft for them and their loved ones the perfect wedding weekend.

Miranda has been Jennifer’s excellent assistant all year and is the lead on the Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Party and Sunday Brunch.

Gretchen and Crystal round out the SSE team for the weekend.

1. Give them a task to keep them busy and help make them feel included.
2. Schedule down time. Wedding days are long for everyone - especially kids! Keep them rested and fed.
3. Communication is key. Talk to them about their role and practice, practice, practice if need be.
4. Consider their personality and if they are a good fit.
5. Have more than one for emotional support. Kids like having a buddy!

An invitation suite refers to a full package that is mailed to each guest and usually consists of a mailing envelope, an invitation, an RSVP card, an RSVP envelope, and an information card. The envelope that will have the guest's name & address printed on it. Customization is possible on every piece - colors, fonts, paper, foil, embossing, artwork, paper liners, and more. We offer guest management services if you wish to have someone receive and track RSVPs for you. Then, the final touches on transportation, lodging, and even the final reception seating assignments are a little more streamlined.

This picturesque estate was named after Mary Musgrove, a pioneer known as a cultural liaison between colonial and Native American societies, for her peace keeping efforts, entrepreneurship, and land claims to the Sea Islands in Georgia.  

Famous leaders have visited Musgrove Retreat. In 1976, President Jimmy Carter held his first pre-inaugural Cabinet meeting here. “Musgroves” – so-called by returning participants – have become vital annual occasions to exchange information, regain energy, open eyes, recommit, and, most exciting of all, turn emergent ideas into successful action. The name of the estate has become synonymous with thoughtful gatherings that discuss issues of topical interest and social importance.

If your venue has a unique feature, ask your planning team or florist how to make it stand out as a focal point and use it to your advantage. Sam wanted florals in this fountain, but we've also done surpentine tables with action food stations around fountains at . For big chandeliers or long handrails, ask if your venue will allow you to incorporate fresh greenery such as with pipe cleaners so nothing is damaged. For dance floors and in-house bars, can these be wrapped in vinyl? Is there somewhere to store furniture if you choose to bring in additional furniture? These are all great questions to ask your venue manager.

As two professionals who are always on the go and traveling for demanding jobs, Katie and Paul wanted all of their guests to be able to stay onsite or nearby and to fully escape their hurried lives for a weekend. So when we were searching venues, we wanted to make whatever inn they chose could handle their headcount for the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and lodging. Meals were shared, stories were told, and friends, both young and old, enjoyed spending time together in this little mountain resort at the end of a road. We were even thankful for the spotty wifi and the lasting memories it helped to create. Their wedding felt like a reunion of souls.

Today was such a treat to meet the Director of Operations and Catering Manager at Governors Towne Club Golf and Country Club . If you're following us and looking for a lux venue in metro Atlanta, head NW, and go check this place out near historic Acworth. The layout is spectacular for the flow of a wedding weekend. From a service and design standpoint... it's right up our alley and we know all of our potential clients will love it also!

2024 has arrived and with it new trends for weddings and formal events. Once such trend isn't just for introverts (but we know they'll especially love it). Couples are exchanging private vows ahead of their prime time ceremony, a confidential and heartfelt shift from more public declarations of love. If you prefer to wait until the main event, your officiant can let your guests know you're exchanging private vows and give you time to quietly share your promises, mic off. Many couples who go this route still exchange traditional marriage vows in front of their loved ones.
