Today, I get to share something I’m incredibly proud of.
What started as a creative challenge—how do we capture the essence of a dancer’s artistry in a way that feels authentic and cinematic—quickly turned into something more than I expected. With each reel we created, it became clearer: this wasn’t just a video project. It was a movement.
Today, I’m proud to officially introduce Reel Dance Media—a collaboration born under NC Dance Ambassadors, now standing on its own. RDM is a creative production company and educational experience designed to elevate how dance is filmed, shared, and remembered.
At its core, this is about honoring dancers. Helping them feel seen. Giving them a reel that reflects who they are, not just what they can do. It’s been an honor to bring this vision to life alongside and with the incredible energy and passion of Katherine Mark.
This is just the beginning.
