I always enjoy following my brides and grooms. Whether it be on FB or IG, it’s always a joy to see their lives evolve, and know that I had a small role at the beginning of the ‘I Do’s ‘.
Today that joy turned to sadness as I learned that one of my grooms passed away, leaving behind his beautiful wife and two girls. A kind soul taken too soon. My heart goes out to them as I recall the warmth and glow on each other’s faces during their summer barn wedding.
There no words but a prayer that I can share and one that gives strength and a reminder that God and those we lose will always be walking beside us.
Sending you love, B and A. 🤍
The Lord is my shepherd;
I have all that I need.
He lets me rest in green meadows;
He leads me beside peaceful streams.
He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths,
bringing honor to His name.
Even when I walk through the darkest valley,
I will not be afraid,
for You are close beside me.
Your rod and Your staff protect and comfort me.
You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies;
You honor me by anointing my head with oil.
My cup overflows with blessings
Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all the days of my life,
and I will live in the house of the Lord
forever.
-Psalm 23
