Public education plays a pivotal role for our children by bridging equity gaps, providing students from diverse backgrounds a path to success, and fostering exposure to a variety of cultures and opinions.
In Florida, we have witnessed the emergence of book bans, legislation prohibiting discussions on race, and the implementation of anti-LGBTQ+ policies. Despite efforts to defund, dismantle, and weaken public education, we are moving forward and winning many of these fights. Join us to explore strategies to resist these challenges, ensuring the protection of public education for all.
