Just in case you thought we always have it together… It’s a world of big emotions and I’m living in it.

I’ve spent the last few days in big emotions training… and my kids so kindly and so graciously demonstrated their large emotions in real life. Thanks for the practice, guys!!

Logic does not apply when you take kids to do amazingly fun things… like go swim in a lazy river and ride water slides after a long day at school. I thought it would be fun, but hey! What do I know??

Jk. Kaden and Cole had a wonderful time!! Sometimes it’s hard when good things end. They had every reason to be sad that the slide closed earlier than the pool (and they weren’t expecting it). I would have been sad too! I show this photo just so if you are also dealing with large emotions, you know you’re not alone! 🫶🏻

The three of us adventured to Plano to try a fun, new to us boba spot @bobaguruplano! I got a milk tea (my favorite) and Aaron tried boba for the first time!! He went with the strawberry green tea with fresh peaches! I got the milk tea with honey boba! They were both delicious! Kaden loved it too! Check my stories to see Kaden’s favorite! I think we shot off nearly 8 poppers yesterday just because it was so fun!! When we turned on the fan we started cracking up because it started snowing confetti!! And then when we pulled back the covers to go to bed we found even more! Thanks for sharing the excitement with us!! Sometimes I am sad because we haven’t really put a lot of time into decorating our room... but then we use it for a great little photo studio often and I get to have all those fun memories in this relaxing space!! I am so grateful for my growing family! Kaden and I got to tour the gorgeous @honakerhouse B & B because they are starting to host small weddings! This space is perfect for an intimate wedding, and your bridal party could even stay there! We had fun, so we wanted to show you around! Enjoy this beautifully historic home!

This book stopped me because of the name. I was so curious what they would say you should do with an idea because I always have so many!! As a dreamer, this book just makes my heart so happy! I hope you enjoy this read, and I hope you embrace and care for your ideas.

I used to read this book to my students around the 4th of July because it’s the beautiful words of the song America the Beautiful and it has so many great quotes from different presidents! Happy 4th!
