I have made a decision to let my studio go. I will still be in business, just no longer have the building to work out of. Back to coffee shop meetings, and renting hotel rooms for bo***ir shoots. It was a very difficult decision to make, but one that had to be made. All the shut downs from last year, and the slow transition back into things this year, it’s been a financial drain. Now with the Delta variant scaring everyone into not wanting to book large weddings again, who knows what the future holds. I am still available for sessions. I am still available for weddings. We will still be DJing. We are not closing the business, just the building.
Also, I will still set up mini sessions and be able to rent out the Festival building in town for those.

I am going to be working on another photography class if anyone is interested in signing up. I am also considering an online class where it is all done by video. If anyone is interested, please comment with what evenings work best for you! I will be offering both beginner and intermediate! Beginner classes teach you how to move away from auto mode and into manual. Intermediate will be more about lighting, landscapes and perspective.

I see a lot of people ask what the “right thing to do” for their wedding is, as if there is a standard. The right thing to do for your wedding is do what you want to do! There are no rules when it comes to your day. People can make suggestions, yes there is a traditional order of things, but ultimately it is your day. Do what makes you happy!
