RJM Entertainment takes pride in having world class DJs who can handle ANY event! So here's a list of the prerequisites we require to be an RJM DJ and we believe our clients should know too!

1. They are organized
A well-organized DJ is vital in an era where you can carry your entire music library on your laptop. If the party begins to lag, a DJ may need to improvise to keep the energy rolling— and they can’t improvise if they can’t find the music they need within their library.

2. They can read the crowd/room
All the organization in the world won’t help a DJ who can’t read a room. If you hire a DJ who doesn’t notice an energy lull-- the event will likely stall out early. We can't have that happen!

3. They set the mood and pace for any event
Once a good DJ sees a slowing in energy, it’s either time to shift towards slower songs or ramp it up with some crowd favorites. Experienced DJs will understand the ups and downs to create a flow that comes with specific events (like a wedding!) and can work to keep the energy flowing in a natural way

4. They bring a unique flare
A good DJ will put a unique spin on any event they work. From their personality to their individual methods for amping up a crowd, you want your DJs to be memorable-- in a good way!

5.They're Professional
An unprofessional DJ can easily ruin an event. Your DJ needs to be able to fit the event they are hired to do. Point Blank.

6. They come prepared
Accidents and equipment failures happen. There’s nothing more disappointing than having a big energy build up to...silence. A good DJ will have equipment backups and fallback plans in case something goes wrong, so the party doesn’t grind to a halt due to a simple technical malfunction.

This wedding just hit different. Earlier this year, we sat down with Steff and Felipe for what we thought was a routine consult to discuss their wedding . 4 hours later we had talked about life, love, family, and didn’t realize how much time had passed because we were having so much fun. Fast forward 8 months, multiple dinners, get togethers, and adventures, we finally celebrated two of the most amazing people on the planet tying the knot and uniting their families.

and , we are honored to have had the opportunity to meet you and to have the chance to celebrate with you on your special day. We feel lucky that you chose us and to have gone from clients, to friends, and finally to family. We love you guys and cannot be more happy for you and Evan.

As for the day of, a HUGE thank you to such an amazing vendor team. We absolutely rocked this event together and we could not have pulled it off without everyone being absolute rockstars 🤩🙏🏼

Happy wedding day to Shelby and Dylan!

This black and white affair is sure to be stunning! St. Johns Illuminations will be providing the lighting and draping, while Marble + Pine will be decorating the ballroom and ceremony space with their lovely florals.

After vows are exchanged, guests will be escorted to the ballroom for dinner from Purple Olive. Cake will be following, from Crème de la Cocoa.

After all of the delicious food and desserts, RJM Entertainment will begin the music for dancing! The fun will be captured by Photos by Rob Futrell and First Sight Films.

And Michelle from Coastal Celebrations will be here coordinating from beginning to end!
