There have been so many times where I invite my friends to shows but they say they can’t go out because they don’t want to get too f*ked up.⁣
⁣
And now I am seeing so many posts where people are dissing on a night out because they could take care of themselves at home instead.⁣
⁣
Wake up people, it’s 2023! You can take control of your actions. It doesn’t have to be this way! In fact, it can be therapeutic if you let it! Dancing is 𝐦𝐲 therapy! ⁣
And before you say maybe not everyone is built my way, has anxieties on the dance floor, blah blah blah… 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲! I have been fighting my social anxiety demons since I was born. And guess what?! Going out by myself, facing my fears, letting go of societies expectations of me, has turned that demon into a baby cub (that I’m only slightly nervous to hug). And I’m not getting s**t faced to do it.⁣
⁣
So moral of the story is, stop shooting down my Flow bc you think you need to loose your mind to do it. If that’s you, then that’s a you problem, but don’t make everyone around you join your negative bandwagon.⁣

And no, you are never too old to go out.⁣
⁣

I have been DJing for 7 years but it was only about 2 years ago that I decided I wanted to take the leap and make music my career. It seemed a little insane to me, with a science background and no music education. But it was the support of my Twitch Fam (not pictured) that continued to return to my channel and grow with me as I kept playing from my heart. This made me realize there wasn’t anything else I could do endlessly and still love this much. So once the world started opening up after the pandemic I decided I wasn’t going to play small anymore and make some power moves…which was saying yes to all opportunities. I took on a residency for a year at a hotel, I put on my own events (shout out ), and played at smaller gigs which gradually have been getting larger and larger. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐢𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐮𝐩. It literally means the world every time you take a chance on me. I understand time is valuable, you can’t get that back. Yet, there you are on the dance floor! So I promise I will give my all to you at every show. I love you guys so freakin’ much.
