It’s always fun to see the plating come together. Here we’re serving pan fried halloumi w/ hot honey and fresh thyme. This course was paired with a Brut champagne, which provided a nice contrast to the saltiness of the cheese and sweetness of the honey.

Last night was truly special! We had the privilege of not only catering their daughter’s wedding but also being part of a beautiful 60th birthday celebration with a remarkable food and wine experience.

Growing up, I loved ma’s stuffed cabbage rolls. But as an adult, I rarely eat it. Not sure why? Recently I was motivated to try a braised caramelized cabbage dish. The tomato sauce was a beautiful base and adding sour cream and fresh dill on top was the perfect garnishment. This was easily my favorite winter side dish so far this season.

Excited to find purple Brussels sprouts at the store! Similar to their green counterparts but slightly sweeter. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar after roasting or add some pancetta. They’re a gorgeous side dish for your Christmas prime rib or roasted chicken!

New Year’s Day is always a special time for me. Besides being my birthday (🎂), it’s become a long-standing family tradition of fresh pasta, crab legs (or sous vide flank steak), chimichurri, chili crunch, lemon drop martini and a Rocky movie (this year it was Gladiator 2)!How did you spend the New Year?

What a fun night! This year’s Star Awards theme was cheeky academia. School cafeteria food but we like to put in our fun spin: house made pimento boats, shrimp cocktail, deviled eggs, “peanut butter and jelly” noodles. Don’t let the principal catch you eating in the hallway!

We wanted to try something new and fun for our company party this year.

And that’s a wrap. Happy New Year!
