Fushion…. Not the paint but the principle! I love mixing and blending things to discover something new. This cutie pie couldn’t decide between a mermaid and roses… and this design was born. Filling our love with blends is such a beautiful way to savor uniqueness- happy painting!

I love the human impulse to copy. I love painting butterflies- and when I ask to take a picture- often the sibling pipes up “do you want to take my picture too?” I get some of my favorites when I wasn’t even expecting it!
Oh- and everyone needs a tiara sometimes.

How do you handle requests that aren’t your Jam? I have never loved Darth Maul, watching him or painting him! But give me a finger light saber and I am all in. I love listening to the kids light saber sounds as they try it out.

The smallest unicorn I have ever painted!!! In my booth I have a sign that reads “cool dad’s get their faces painted” it is meant as a joke- but over the years it has proved to be so true. I am always touched when a Man engages in the joy of face painting and bonds with his small children. Thank you men for being fathers. We all need you. Happy Father’s Day!!

Yesterday flying above the US I gave myself this henna design- today my heart was full when my teenage daughter asked if she could have one. I know years are coming when she will need to pull away and find herself- but it feels so amazing the still be “cool enough” to match.

It is amazing to me how much can happen in just a couple days. I just spent some time with incredible people in Denver,CO. Coming up to “Creative Magic” was about the best way to describe the experience of taking a couple days to soak in the energy of like minded makers. 11 women from 5 states all braving the thin air and dangers of snow and mountain driving for the burning love of Face Painting! Thank you Lamar and Ashley for hosting such a special event and inviting me to share my passion with you all.
