I love when everything is perfect. I had no idea her name was Luna when I forced this cutie to get painted too. I just thought it was funny to have hike be able to howl at the moon! We had a great time together, and after finding out he dresses as super hero’s for birthday parties , we had so much fun swapping stories. Our world is so special. I need to take more time to stop and remember that!

I normally paint a quick web on my spider men- this little guy out his hand in webbing position before I finished painting his second web- first time that has ever happened! Having him hold on to my thumb as I finished was so special to me- love that Mom and Dad said yes to a picture.

🤯🤯🤯 Did you know you don’t have to paint fish to get a kissing picture??? Always takes a minute to work up the courage to ask for it- but Man, it is sooooo fun!!

**. I didn’t paint the Mike Tyson, he came in with that already and wanted her to match- she seemed nervous - So I told her I would add a girly vibe. Thank you mystery artist that got this ball rolling- your linework is great!

I love having something to look forward to. Right now? I am so stoked to be going to The Official Henna Society conference this November in Connecticut.

If you have never been to a hotel filled with people that draw on each other- you are missing out!!!
Did you read the pillow? Literally Paradise.

Among the teachers coming are some of my favorite people! There are classes from beginners to forever learners - I can’t decide if I am more excited to teach or take classes.

I can’t wait to share all my thoughts on how to make your henna designs work for you!

Gotta love a photo bomber! So many kids are over it! Having their pictures taken- not this guy- I was painting some roses (thank you Lamar Garcia for pushing me to try harder) and this little dino ran to join the picture!

So Frida Haas has this amazing mix your white and yellow technique. Clearly she likes it! Painting with other artists changes you! Making that a priority has made my painting life so rich. Can’t wait to henna it up with some people this Fall! I hope to see some old friends- and I always have room for some new ones.

It’s almost here!… October is around the corner- and lucky for me I get to spend it painting pumpkins all month long! I mean kids- as pumpkins! I will be at Seiple Farms on weekends until Halloween. (Except for the week I hang out with my friends at Anderson farms in Denver) Can’t wait to see you!

Ha! A bald unicorn! I always paint the hair before the eyes- but I wanted to see if I could get the symmetry better if I did the illustration before the hair for once- I had to laugh when I saw the bald unicorn I had painted!

As face painters we paint the same thing over and over and over… and then…. One day the lines change and the design wakes up and starts singing. I can’t say what was different going into this design, but I got swept away by the lines and butterfly waves - love them!!!

I never tire of looking at kids as they see themselves and smile. It is nice that I got to be a part of that- but what I LOVE is knowing it is possible to accept yourself and have joy in your reflection. I can struggle to experience this simple act in my own life- it is so great to have the constant reminder in my job every day.

Friends are so important in life- last night at 10 o’clock I hear little voices “face painting??!! Please please please! Adult:yes voices yay!!!!” They came in and chose to match naturally. They were all so supportive and kind to each other. Thank you Frida Haas and Ashley Stamps for being those friends to me this week!

So excited by this!!! I was having a slow day- so I put up a sign- ask me about half price designs- it was awesome to get to do some new Halloween designs so I can have fresh options and find a way to meet families with a lower budget. #winwin

I adore adding hand designs to face paint and creating these silly little movies! Anything for a smile!
