Another successful wedding season in the books! For those of you that do not already know, we are a locally owned company located out of Downtown KC. When we started this company our goal was to be able to put out excellent food, every single time, at affordable prices. We only book 1 event per day and this means that if you hire us you will get all of our undivided attention on the day of your event. We do it this way because we want to make sure every element of our service is spot on. If you are looking for great food, great prices, and consistency, then please reach out!

This client decided to keep things light and serve our chips and salsa bar, charcuterie board, and petit four desserts (keylime pie, cheesecake, carrot cake, and brownies) with all of the upgrades and fixings. They paid a total price of $13/person. You just cant beat that. Next time you are hosting an event and you need some great food for people to snack on, give us a holler!

Some of our clients cant decide between our chips and salsa bar or our charcuterie board. On all of our events with 150 guests or more, we offer the option to have both with no additional charge!

Did you know that at Hefter Catering we compost 100% of our produce food scraps from our food prep? 🤩 When produce scraps go into a trash bag and into a dumpster or out on the curb, not only are they contributing to landfills but also don’t break down properly. When food breaks down in a landfill it doesn’t have oxygen to help it so it produces methane gas which is toxic to the environment. 🤢 Since Hefter Catering has started composting, we are diverting 3-4 13 lb trash bags from a landfill every week! Not only that - but when the scraps get composted, they return rich resources back into the earth where they can be used again to grow more food! 🥬🌶🥕

Did you know that the average wedding cost $34,000? That is literally a down payment for a home.

Half of our clients book us because they want a taco bar at their wedding, but the other half of our clients book us because they are looking for a more affordable caterer.

Our clients paid $16/person for our cheeseboard appetizer, our entree taco bar, and a cookie bar for dessert. Oh and by the way, that also included real plates, real silverware, and staffing. Before you go spend a fortune on catering, give us a holler.

Practice makes perfect. Since we do the same thing every time (with subtle variations between tiers), we get to fine tune with every event that we do. If you want a caterer that will consistently provide great food at affordable prices, then don’t hesitate to reach out!
