It's been a bit since I've posted my face on here- life never seems to slow down!

Instead of telling you silly fun facts about myself I would rather take this time to share why I fell in love with photographing weddings.

Photographing weddings isn't about "making art". I take it as an invitation into one of the most intimate days of your life. The day is so magical.

It's the preservation of....

Your first kiss.

Hugs with parents and grandparents.

Tears for the loved ones who weren't able make it or who might not be around anymore.

Making a life long commitment.

So, for me, being invited to document your day is the best gift I could receive. In return my gift to you is your fleeting moments and memories captured so that you can cherish them for a lifetime ✨

With that being said, if your wedding is coming up soon, I'd love to talk with you and capture these moments for you forever.

Erin picked the perfect location, the architecture of the is beyond stunning. Virginia still surprises me with it’s hidden gems and oddly warm weather (for December).

Capturing Mark + Nikki’s day was beyond special. These two are the sweetest, most down to earth couple (who can also party). I adored how they incorporated such loving moments into their wedding day like foot washing. Such a reflection of the Lords love for us and the best way to start off their marriage 🥹

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord”

It’s so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle as a wedding vendor. I’m thankful for all of the little moments that God forces me to slow down, and really reflect on why I do what I do.

Instead of telling you how busy I am, how tired I am, or how many miles I’ve driven this fall. I instead want to say how incredibly thankful to each and every couple, family and senior I’ve been able to love on and photograph this year.

You all make what I do truly the best ✨🫶🏼

These two drove up from Raleigh to Virginia Beach for their engagement photos, and although it started raining literally 10 minutes after we finished their session, I’m so glad they chose this beach location.

Not only did they make the trek, these two were adventurous and let me convince them to get in the ocean 🌊🦀

Chloe and Charles’ engagement session was so incredibly special! We spent all morning laughing while we walked around the National Mall, these two are such fun!

The best part was seeing Charles’ face light up every time I told him to kiss Chloe. Truly nothing makes me happier than seeing my couples so deeply in love 🥹

Marc + Julia’s wedding encompassed them perfectly. They got married this past Saturday at Julia’s parent’s house in the Richmond country side. The whole day was filled with love, laughter, and one of the best parties I’ve ever seen!

I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity to capture this sweet couple from the time Marc popped the question, to when they officially tied the knot!
