For weddings and receptions I create customized playlists that become the "soul" of your big day. From current hits mixed with old favorites to a robust theme that require musical knowledge and archives. My music background is in college radio where I did a we

ekly program of eclectic music on WYSO from Antioch University in Ohio. My musical tastes are broad, but I'm best known for curating a blend of classic jazz, swing, Rat Pack, big band, funk, soul and Latin rhythms. I'm what other DJs call a "crate-digger”. I enjoy turning fresh ears onto grooves and genres that you don't hear loudly enough today. Let’s talk about your needs, your wishes, and my availability. After a brief conversation I can give you a quote based on the customization you may or may not need, the location, and your sound system requirements from small to large. I mainly book gigs in Palm Springs, Los Angeles, Orange County, Las Vegas and Phoenix, but naturally I can play anywhere.

⚓️Spain got its first salty taste of Yacht Rock with Steely Cruise the other nite! Thank you Uprooted Theater in Sevilla for believing in my nautical hyperbole. It was a big hit and we now have two more dates already set. Starting in January we’ll do this once a month on a Saturday. For those interested, I built the boat, rigging and some of the decor in our one bedroom apartment. Luckily I can keep everything at the theater and not have to drag it all back and forth (even though the theater is only a 5 min walk from our place). Thank you Muskrat Dupree (Mark), for the great photos!
