Rest in peace, Wade 🤍 An integral member of the sport and Track Town, U.S.A., Wade Bell was 17th American to break 4 minutes in the mile, 1968 Olympian, and American record-holder before serving as an official at Hayward Field for decades after his athletic retirement. He will forever be remembered in the hearts and record books of the track & field community.
