The KEY to a successful, enjoyable session is to PLAY. To create movement and interaction is to make memories worth capturing.
So, I'm using our maternity session as an example!

Now I am not saying by any means that Daniel and I are the ideal models, but being able to be comfortable and create an environment of free space and act like there's not someone there pointing a camera in your face the whole time is the magic behind it all. After all, we are here to capture this rawness and all the beauty between you and your loved ones. We aren't there to judge your methods of laughter, we are there to create it. ❤

So many blessings this year and even more friendships!

A lot of big changes happened this year, both for my business and in my personal life, with the move to Maryland, my husband and I eloping and then finding out that we have a baby on the way, oh yeah, a d the huge transition of going full time with the government again, yet, stride for stride, you all stuck with me, were so flexible with timelines and just beyond gracious and supportive. I am so grateful for each and every one of you!

Thanks for finishing off my strongest year yet and making it the best 2024 it could be. ✨

So looking forward to all of 2025s surprises!

Heads up, my annual birthday month special is coming up starting tomorrowwwwwwwww, so be on the look out for that! 👀

One thing to keep in mind when booking a session with any photographer and planning for the day is to leave the expectation at home of how you think your session will go because I promise you, what is delivered will ALWAYS exceed that.

Do us a favor and trust that just because the picture-perfect smile wasn’t able to be captured doesn’t mean the quality time spent playing with your babes was.

We weren’t able to get 100 happy smiles out of this little guy during our session, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t able to capture him being the wildly curious and fun 2 year old little boy that he is, fascinated by rocks, horses and airplanes.

We will always remember the smiles, but the little details like those captured here slip through the cracks in our memories and when we just LET THEM BE, we capture moments that will last a lifetime.
