How do I gather all of the thoughts racing around in my head at one time and somehow put them down in one post?

Let's begin here, with The Nicholas';
My very last wedding of 2024. These two here are genuinely, the most wholesome people, both as a couple and individually and I could not be more happy that their paths crossed one another. Michala hired me quite some time before their wedding for their engagement session and being a photographer herself, She knew exactly what she was looking for. All of my clients have been incredible to work with, always, but something about working with another photographer and BEING their vision is a whole other level. The love scattered throughout their crowd of loved ones was so deeply rooted, almost like a hug in every room. Definitely one of those "you had to be there" kind of moments and those are the moments that make this the best dang job in the world.

With that being said, Tomorrow, February 11, 2025, I am scheduled for an induction and will be bringing our daughter into this beautiful world, whether she decides to come on her own beforehand is on her and would be GREATLY appreciated(so say your prayers and send out all the positive intentions for us because we want her here naturally and healthy and happy). Either way, we can not wait for her to arrive!

All recent final galleries have been sent out and inquiries responded to, so check your inboxes!

We will be spending some much-needed, well-deserved time away on Maternity leave, living, loving and learning! Unless we have already spoken and dates have been chosen, my next 2 or so months will be dedicated to bonding with our family and I am so looking forward to it.

My books will be back open in April to book whatever sessions you have in mind, including upcoming seasonal minis for the late summer, fall, and Christmas, so please feel free to message with any inquiries, but understand our upcoming transition and know that I will be in contact with you shortly.

The KEY to a successful, enjoyable session is to PLAY. To create movement and interaction is to make memories worth capturing.
So, I'm using our maternity session as an example!

Now I am not saying by any means that Daniel and I are the ideal models, but being able to be comfortable and create an environment of free space and act like there's not someone there pointing a camera in your face the whole time is the magic behind it all. After all, we are here to capture this rawness and all the beauty between you and your loved ones. We aren't there to judge your methods of laughter, we are there to create it. ❤
