Last night, I had a session in Gates County, NC,
Today, I have a wedding in Carrsville, VA and tomorrow, I will be in Chesapeake, VA for Christmas Minis. Lots of travel this weekend, so I just wanted to keep those waiting on galleries updated. They’re coming your way shortly!

A little different than what I usually post, but I promise it’s applicable.

So I have some really great friends that got married recently. Brandon and Gracie got married in Gracie’s family church. She wore her mother’s wedding gown that her mother wore to marry her father at the very same alter at the very same church 30 years ago. Her father is now the preacher at this church and their children were realized up in the pews that their loved ones surrounded them in on this day. He wrote an incredible sermon and personal vows and officiated their marriage. There are 5 siblings between both Brandon and Gracie who individually played countless contributing roles throughout their special day. They stood in as the ring bearer, the pianist, groomsmen, flower girls, the ushers. Her sister played the cello as Gracie walked down the aisle to marry the man she so long dreamed of.

As their close family friend, they asked me to be present in their day, but not to work it, as they were like my family who were getting married. Instead they asked if I would grab some timeless details the morning of as everyone prepared and I couldn’t resist.

The amount of unconditional love and devotion this family has for one another is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced from any other family before. They are truly the standard of how family should be and I hold them so dearly.

Here’s to forever, Mr. and Mrs. Harris! ♾️ 💍
