Trying to stay warm as it gets chillllllly 🥶

We take these next few months to spend with family, catch up on editing, indoor shoots. Charlie spends a lot of time with corporations, branding, and event coverage these colder months!

Don’t let the cold scare you away from getting photos, let’s embrace the winter nature or move inside for a creative indoor shoot!

We shoot almost all of our receptions like this... 📸

For my photographer followers, here's how:

Shutter Speed: Slow - Somewhere around 1 second

Aperture: High - f9 or so
To help with sharpness, & also compensate for more light being let in because of the slow shutter

ISO: 100-400

Flash: M - Adjusted to whatever works for exposure
Just make sure your flash is pointed at the subject

I prefer a wider angle lens: 16-20mm

Introduce camera shake/movement - I like to dance with the subject
Just use the viewfinder and ignore how awkward you feel.

Lights behind your subject help add to the party vibe of the photo.
