We had a fun surprise today!
This little guy is about 90 seconds old, and is the first of many to follow this week.

This is our first little batch of the year just in time for one more so they can do their winter migration.

To anyone who is still waiting on their Monarch kits; we should have them for you by next week.

Hey Everyone, I'm looking for a Freeze Dryer. Do any of you have experience with certain brands or models that you can recommend?
I'm looking for one that doesn't need the oil changed every time.

Here is one that I found that has lots of shelves... but that's as far as my knowledge goes.

We have a 10×20' butterfly house at West Fest Fair this Saturday from 11am to 11pm. We are looking for 2 more people to cover 2 shifts during that time period.

Raspberry Days has our BEST flight house EVER. Over 100 butterflies including: Painted Ladies, Red Admirals, Cabbage Whites, and Monarchs! It’s such a magical experience to hold them and be emerged in our little biosphere. We’re excited to see you, we’re here all weekend!

We won't deny that butterflies are the stars of the show, but how cool is it that every butterfly used to be a caterpillar just like these guys here? We'll always be in awe of metamorphosis! If only these little guys knew the potential they had in their tiny little bodies. Is there a life lesson in there somewhere...? 🤔

There are so many ways you can purchase and use butterflies and we want to tell you all the ways!

Our first, and most popular way is to purchase a butterfly kit! These kits come with everything you'll need to raise caterpillars into butterflies that you'll eventually be able to release!

But if you don't want to wait, we also have butterfly release kits that feature already matured butterflies! You can buy single butterflies or a whole kit for big events!

Cabbage White Butterflies are often overlooked because they aren't glamorous and brightly colored. But we're just so in love! And they’re our favorite for large butterfly releases. These butterflies are so dainty, and delicate, we can't get enough!
